What's a game that is based on the same concept like Minecraft?

Just curious to see if you know any. I'm getting bored of my games and I'm looking to play something new and refreshing.
I tried Terraria but I didn't really like it.

Try out Trove from Trion Worlds or Guncraft which is a survival game minecraft based avaiable for download on Steam both for free. I didn't really play it a lot but have some friends that they are basically kind of addicted to them and they say it's really worth the try.

Lego Worlds looks pretty fun. It's Early Access on Steam. Cube World is another, except there is no emphasize on building and more emphasize on adventure. It has role playing elements, as well as crafting and interaction with villagers. There are a myriad of monsters in the world and the world itself is diverse.

There are tons of Minecraft clones, but I'd suggest a Terraria alternative, called Starbound. I find that it does everything Terraria does, only better. You can explore different planets, and there is a lot of stuff to do and find.

Cube World is pretty awesome. Starbound is pretty good, too, but it's pretty similar to Terraria.

7 Days to Die incorporates Minecraft elements, and dozens of other games have crafting and survival combinations nowadays.

There are many other games based off of Minecraft, not necessarily clones but they are great - some of the games I found in list I find funner to play than Minecraft

    Reign of Kings
    Rust
    Terraria
Starbound (just like Terraria, except Space)

I was going to suggest Terraria, but seeing as you weren't into it, I'm gonna vote for Cube World, too. I'm kind of biased towards it though because of the role playing elements, like tinybutnotfangless mentioned. The game itself has the same Terraria/Minecraft feel overall though in my opinion, so if you don't mind it being something a bit more then that, for sure give it a look at.

There's a lot, it's a popular genre to mimic right now. There's also Castleminer Z which looks interesting btu I haven't tried it.

First thing that I think of is Terraria. Maybe it's not exactly the same, but this is the closest thing that I can think of. However, the point of view in the game is slightly more different.

Terraria, Minebuilder and Survivalcraft. I'd only recommend the former, as the latter two are just blatant Minecraft ripoffs without really bringing anything new to the table.

I would recommend SkySaga. It has a very similar feel and look to it with attracting art style.
