I skipped Mists of Pandaria and recently came back to the game.
What is something that's worthwhile in this expansion that I can easily get before Warlords releases?
It can be something like some pet or mount for example.

Probably the tillers farm is the most valuable thing out of mists of pandaria. It's basically a free supply of mop era matts, times how many characters you have. If you get eight stacks per week of matts from your farm, and you have ten characters, 8X10 = 80 stacks of matts per week. Which you can use to make bags, mounts, or what ever, depending on your professions.

It's a bit harder now since Patch 6. Every stat has been scaled down. So unless you're not playing the official servers, you might have a harder time trying to go for Raid Boss achievements in the level 80-85 range.
