What's the longest you've ever spent on a single Minecraft world?

So my first Minecraft world was an utter disaster since I had no idea what I was doing. I still spent around 20 hours on it. My second world is where I had everything figured out and I probably spent about 200 hours in it up until this point. I've created numerous worlds since then, too. What's the longest you've ever spent in one Minecraft world building or surviving or whatever?

The most would probably be maybe 10 hours or so not including the ones that are meant for me to use redstone.

Do worlds in servers count? Because if so I spent an embarrassing amount of time on a prison server called Killion. Yikes, must have been hundreds of hours at least.

I still play my survival world from version 1.0 :p It's been through a few modpacks and stuff but I've tried to avoid things like quarries so the land still look pretty nice :) I also don't explore much so all the new biomes are like 1000 blocks away at most.

Uh, a year and a half? I had this single player world way back in 2011, my first world, and I fell in love with it. It was all vanilla Minecraft and I was in this snow biome and I had this small 12 by 12 hut. I had a small mine that I could barely could get out of it. I was always dying and I once lost 32 diamonds all in a blazing glory of lava. It was awesome. The world was my personal escape from the real life. I just loved this world so dearly. Now, I can't even play a world with amazing mods without getting bored. That's why I long for those days. Where I found Minecraft so revolutionary, so amazing, so...ground breaking. Where I could play a world, vanilla, and play for months at end. *sigh* Oh well.

I really haven't put much time into a world... Maybe a month or so, but that's about it. I get bored of things quick and I just want to continue to change things up. Sometime I want to actually generate a world that I like, and just continue to build in it.. I don't know what yet, just a bunch of different things, make an entire city or something crazy. I think it'd be fun to look back at all the things I did. Besides, it'd be a good way to kill time when I needed to.

When I first started, I started with the single player world. I think I stayed up a little over 30 hours just messing with the game. As for time total, I think on a private server with some of my friends, we spent a good 8 months playing together before they moved on.

Not very long. Maybe a month, probably shorter. I don't really dedicate myself to single worlds very often in Minecraft- I prefer to jump from world to world very often.

A whole month I believe, it was on a server that I created and it was going well until my best friends friend joined and the moment he was made a mod it seemed like all he did was run around and harass people or light trees on fire. He just ruined the game.

Longest creative builds should probably clock in at over 150+ hours. I tend to add on to my creations even more to make it larger and larger.

Around 2-3 hours because I get bored easily. But if I like the place where I live in Minecraft I spend about 2 or 3 days building things with mods.

I get bored really easily so I'd say just a few hours.

Probably something about 20 hours. I had servers running for weeks with my friends where we all played and it was hilarious.

I never hit the 2 digit mark when it comes to hours. But I have to say the longest is probably 5 hours straight with no breaks. And after that I got tired and bored of the world and I had to start a new one. It's basically the cycle for me, got a brilliant world, got bored, start over.

I think the highest amount of time I had on a minecraft world would be in our very first server. It was up for at least half a year before the map was scraped because of the biome update that happened, I think in the 1.6 Patch.

For a single player world though, it would be my current world made for 1.8, since I never had a SSP world where I played to completion in only survival.
