What's The Most Expensive Gear (in USD)?

    So to clarify my question...

    I know that many parts of World of Warcraft are now available for purchase in USD. What I'm wondering is, which piece of gear in the game is so sought after that it is actually the top in terms of USD? Is it still the fully leveled character? Or maybe it's a particular pieces of weaponry?

    Almost all weapons and armor are BoP, which means you can´t buy them with gold or dollars. The most valuable items you can buy with real cash would be companion pets and mounts. Some of them can legally be bought on ebay and go for over $100.

    There probably is very little market for buying a maxed character since it is so easy to do... and adding in ´fully geared´ doesn´t help much since gear gets reset every 4 months or so. So by the time the seller could fully equip a character, the buyer would have a very short time to use that character anyway... and at the end of a raid cycle, it is easy enough to be raidign without great gear.

    Honestly the black market for WoW isnt what it used to be. Back in the day you might have been able to sell your account for some good money if you were a good raider with gear, now though you dont get much for even that. The only way to get any real money for your WoW account would be if you had a lot of rare mounts and titles that are no longer available in the game.

    The WoW market is pretty much gone. Blizzard has made everything so easy to get, that it is impossible to get a large amount of money unless you were a god back in the day. I wish that I had sold my account when I had the chance.
