What's the scariest moment in your minecraft gameplay?

First time I played the game. Didn't know there were any monsters at all in the game. So I started building a house or so and night time was approaching. I didn't think much of it and kept building and then first mob I ever seen showed up jumping into my building area and I freaked out and closed the game. Good times.

 

When I was just starting out and I didn't know how loud the sounds of the monsters are. A spider crept up on me and scared me really, really bad. It happens a lot with Endermen too.

 

When I first started playing Minecraft, the first thing you need to do is to build a house. When I'm building it I didn't notice that it's already nightfall. And when i turn back I saw a creeper behind me and then it explode, and I literally jumped from my chair. That was really scary, and that's the reason I really hate creepers.

 

When the Nether was new for the first time, going into it was quite scary as we had no idea what to expect.

 

I was just starting out, and I made myself a temporary shelter in a hill for the first night. Keep in mind, this was while I was showing the game to a friend for the first time, so he had no experience with Minecraft prior to this. We were talking about other stuff while we waited for the sun to come out, and out of nowhere, a creeper drops from above my shelter and blows my shelter and I up.

Needless to say that we were scared shitless. It was fantastic, and that moment got my friend hooked up.

 

I think mine was the first time I found out what an Enderman did if you looked at it. As curious as I was, it really freaked me out when I saw its awful attack.

 

Creepers in early game caves is another one I just thought of.

 

I don't have one scariest moment, but I find when I'm wandering a cave and the Enderman music comes on freaks the hell outta me when I can't actually see him. I'll just nervously continue mining whatever it is I'm mining.

 

Every time I've ever thrown something into lava or off a cliff by accident.

 

Leaving my laptop for FIVE SECONDS and coming back to me getting bombarded by mobs. I died as soon as I started moving too. I had so much stuff as well.

 

The first time I ever played the game and came across an enderman. At the time I had a paralysing fear of Slenderman and I knew nothing about Minecraft. I had built a house on a mountain and was fondly looking around through the windows as it got dark. I was like "Omg there's a man over there!" and as I looked and he reacted I went from "oh cool!" to "OH MY GOD!"

I tried to run and hide but he went from a very distant mountain to right next to me in a second and I ended up screaming my head off in real life and quitting the game in terror. Seriously gave me a heart attack and I couldn't play for ages after. I was so jumpy and scared too lol.

 

When I began to play, I always mined straight down. Eventually, my luck ran out and I fell into a pool of lava with all of my items. It was heartbreaking but at least I learned to never dig straight down EVER!

 

The first time I went into a cave after endermen were added into the game. I had my sound on full volume and the sound they make when they teleport makes me so nervous. I was scared I'd lose all of my noobie iron gear so I ran out of that cave so fast.

 

A zombie once properly freaked me out when I was digging, I hadn't heard anything and it was the middle of the night (in real life) and then a zombie came up from behind me (I had the sound maxed) and almost gave me a heart attack. It was pretty scary even for minecraft.

 

I was in a revene, trying to make my way out of the area through the path I had already made. I was freaking out because I found diamonds but then suddenly a zombie just appeared out of the blue from the sky and I got so scared. LiKE WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!?!? I don't even understand. I think it fell off the side of like a small cliff not too high up in the revene but man.. That zombie though.

 

The scariest moments for me are whenever I find an underground railway system and those poisonous spider spawners are around. It's even scarier when they're enshrouded by webs like they usually are

 

Yep, you are just minding your own business digging and as soon as you hit a cavern...BAM! Creepers come out to eat your face off. Gets me every damn time.

 

Yeah, that's always horrible... especially when the creepers explode from behind and startle the hell out of you.

 

Getting creeped on when I have tons of diamonds.
