Someone please explain this to me, if u scrap a Toy Rocketship (1Aluminum & 2Plastic) from your workbench to make something out of Aluminum, will it delete the Plastic (2) that u didnt use from the Rocketship? I really hope the answer is not yes...

Im not sure so i have been going to my settlements and literally dropping my junk on the ground and individually scrapping all of it...all of it...every last piece.

I dont understand why they didnt set this up so u can go to a bench press (R) for Transfer and then mouse over what u want to scrap and press (R) again to scrap it. You could literally watch the materials enter the workbench inventory.

    thanks for reading, Bill

From my experience when you scrap something all of the raw materials get transferred to your Workbench, whether you use them right away or not. They should just appear as a separate stockpile. You can then use them for other projects. So no, the Plastic shouldn't be wasted if you scrap that Toy Rocketship.

To be sure you can drop your junk go into building mode and scrap each piece of junk individually.
