    The title says it all.
My favorite Minecraft Mod was the Aether mod. It was fantastic and revolutionary when it was first released. I found so many exploits for it though, and got myself some pretty overpowered weapons early on.

I completely agree with you there. Right now my favorite mod of all time is the Aether 2. I absolutely loooove the Aether! I love the way it looks so magical and mystical! There's like nothing that can top it.

I loved Tekkit as it was one of the first technical mod packs out there. I was really spending ages on there exploring new stuff making factories. Good 'ol times

Personally, I love Tekkit. In vanilla Minecraft, there are already tons of stuff you can do, such as redstone. However, Tekkit adds a whole new meaning to minecraft, new ores, items and mobs! I really enjoy playing Tekkit on a server where me and my friends can play. Tekkit is a whole bunch of mods combined into a mod pack. You can find this mod pack in the the Technic website.

I really like the Titanfall mod that recently came out. It's really cool and plays pretty much like a normal game of Titanfall.

My favorite one is definitely Tekkit. It adds lots of cool blocks and items and mobs and it really changes the game phase to me. I used to love Aether 2 too, great mod also.

Definitely Optifine. It gave the ability to run HD Textures (don't know if vanilla allows it now though, but back in the day this was one of the ways) and smooths out my frames per second so I can play without lag. It has a such a broad range of tweaks that can be changed to my liking and was one of the best mods ever. Although Minecraft Forge is a close second that is required to run many different mods.

The only mod I have installed right now is a minimap plugin, that allows me to mark waypoints on the map, so I can't get lost. Works on servers and singleplayer, it's awesome :) But if I were on any other PC I'd probably have to say optifine.

Yeah the Minimap was the only mod I actually ever went for.

Tekkit hands down. It's freaking awesome. Allows for some really awesome building designs.

Rei's mini map is my favourite mod because it always stops me from getting lost so now I finally explore miles and miles without having to worry about where I am. The GUI for the mini map also looks awesome

My favorite Minecraft would be NEI (Not Enough Items). It saves a lot of time by having its own recipe dictionary, instead of having to look it up on a wiki.

In terms of modpacks however, my favorite modpack would be TPPI (Test Pack Please Ignore).

Tekkit is the best mod for me. And also Mo's creature mod.

I'd have to go with Tekkit like a few others here. It was a great mod when it came out, and it's still worth playing from time to time. I'll never forget the first time I fired up Tekkit.

I loved the planes mod when it still worked. It was so fun to create an aircraft and drop napalm bomb on the land! It was hard to harvest all the materials but it was well worth it :) .

I don't really like mods that much but I really love Tekkit. Yeah and plane mod is really awesome while it lasted.
