The Final Fantasy series is well-known for its amazing music, Nobuo Uematsu did a great job at composing the music of many of the games. What is your favourite regular battle theme? I will have to go with the Final Fantasy 9 one, don't know why but I believe that it's a song that makes me wanna fight and destroy every enemy that comes by.
I think there's a bit of a similarity when it comes to battle music between FF8 and FF9. FF9 has a very catchy music during battle so I'm going with FF9 too. The battle music, though it would be repeated a lot during the course of the game, it never got old.
I think I love them all. To love a battle theme, you must have played the game that accompanies it. Otherwise, it means nothing to us. It is the memories of those games that returns in me when I hear it. Nobuo Uematsu had really done a good job! It's amazing the talent this composer can use. He Impress me every time. I hope that Final Fantasy will still excellent with good themes songs. Do not forget the wonderful FF15 made by Nomura.
While 9 isn't my favorite, I do agree that it has my favorite battle theme. It just feels so awesome when you hear the music and start fighting.
