    I'm only Silver, but I'm wondering if there are any high ranked players here!?

    I don't play ranked games anymore, since in 90% of them I simply don't have fun. LoL is a game and I play it to have a good time. Ranked games (with all the trolls, bad connections, people with bad attitudes in general etc) are most of the time frustrating or just plain sad. The same applies for non ranked games ofcourse but you don't really lose anything there if you lost a match due to eg. someone intentionally feeding.

    Silver here too. I haven't played for a while though, the games can become pretty frustrating with all the kids trolling around...

    Sad to say I'm silver too. I started playing ranked seriously-ish around September and managed to get to Silver 1 but just did not have any motivation to play anymore.
    It requires too much time and dedication in my opinion.
    You shouldn't play ranked to rank up solely. When you start playing ranked you should play it only and not even touch normal games. That's how I think is the optimal way to get a good rank and not have it feel like a job.

    I got stuck on Bronze I, never managed to reach Silver. I didn't play ranked that much, because it was too stressful, and normal with friends is way more fun.

    I only played a few ranked games in season 2 and got to silver by the end for rewards, this season I played quite a bit of ranked over 500 games I think actually. I was in silver most of the time but towards the end I really stepped up to get into gold for the victorious elise skin, glad to say that I made it with about 2 days left.

    Believe it or not, I knew nothing about ranked games a few months after I became level 30. When I found out about it, I started to play ranked games right away, and it felt a lot more intense, knowing that I have something to fight for and something to achieve. The competition was definitely higher as well, which I totally loved. I remember doing my provisional matches and then being placed into Bronze III. I was pretty disappointed but whatever. Then I started to look at different videos from professional league players and I got inspired by it and decided to reach my goal to achieve the Gold rank. I'm currently Gold V at the moment and it was a hard journey for me. Especially the transition from Silver I to Gold was very very stressful and tiring, but I finally made it.

    I'm silver 3, but the bad connections, bad players in ranked just makes me not want to play ranked.
    So I smurf or play with friends on other servers for more fun rather than get trolled.
    I'm only Silver 3 on NA servers though, I'm smurfing on EUW servers and I'm around level 20 so far.

    Currently in bronze. The bronze 5 dream is real! Bronze 5 is so much fun to play in! You can literally do whatever you want and you will still win1 It's full of new players though, so I guess it ruins the game for them if you just constantly stomp them.
