    I remember playing my future and main character, Heimerdinger. This was back when rockets just needled over and over, the grenade had a slow but lofty distance, and he had three turrets that died pretty stupidly fast but could still chew a turret down - teleport backdoor method if needed. I also remember watching tactics of putting all three in a line and block minion spawns and then break them, flooding the minions in the lane so much the enemy gets overwhelmed and one push breaks three turrets and an inhibitor.

    I also played very early game Veigar. I liked the idea of a placed ring stun.

    I started playing in the beta of the game. My username is the same there, Shimus. I have to say I've been blessed to see how the game has matured over a period of time. I miss some maps (old TT! T_T) but I generally like all the balances they've made since then. Some champs are legit, some just seem like filler elements but that's how it's always been - niche.

    So, when did you guys start? What was YOUR first Champ?

    I was in my dorm room with my roomies and both of them were deep into LoL, like almost every guy there. I was drunk, bored and I had just passed my exams so I tried it. Awesomest mistake ever. Here I am, two years later, avid player, did some competitions too. My first champ was Sona btw, which I totally rocked.

    I started playing in the middle of season 2 and the first champion I really picked up was Katarina, played her til about level 20 then picked up Lux too.

    I started when Closed Beta first came out, you know, back when pretty much every new hero was ridiculously overpowered. (Heimer had like 7 turrets, TF ulti was global, Jax ulti was bugged and could do procs every hit instead of every 3, and so on).

    I first started to play League back in 2011 but I only played the tutorial and that was it. Then about mid 2012 I got a bunch of mates to start playing with me. I remember going duo top lane with me as Jax and my teammate as Darius before his Ult was nerfed.

    I started playing, as far as I can remember, late season 1. My first champion was Kog'Maw. :D

    I actually just started playing a couple months ago. I got to the MOBA game late (being an MMO guy and World of Warcraft for most of my PC gaming) and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I'll usually que one or two games a day.

    The first champ I started with was Teemo as he was the first one I bought after I saw someone go like 30-0 with him in a game. Fun champ, but as I've gotten a little better at the game, I realize how incredibly annoying he is to fight against.

    I started way back in Season 2. I think that was around the year 2012 or so. First champ ever? I think it was Anivia. The only reason I played her was because I saw a video showing some game play of League of Legends, and I noticed that Anivia had a passive that gave her a second life basically. Thought it was cool, so I tried it out. But now, I almost never play Anivia anymore.

    I started playing in 2011, and my first champion was Ashe. I honestly had no idea what I was doing since I didn't know what the game was about, first and foremost, and given my EUNE server in which I played back then, you could divine that I got a lot of swear on me, haha. I almost quit because of that, but told myself I'd simply ignore them before beginning the match which I did. Now I do this again, haha.

    I started playing in the middle of season 1. I remember my first game against other people was with Kayle. I didn't even use QWER, I used the mouse to click on every spell. Lol was really different back then. Way too many things have changed. I remember when Sunfire cape stacked, and when Eve was considered really op, because she had a stun. Ashe mid was a normal pick. The first champion I bought was Twisted Fate, and he was some sort of ADC, AP TF didn't exist at that time. So many great memories, the community was way nicer, now everyone is flaming and toxic. I started playing when Lux was released, so far Riot have already released 64 champs since Lux. They used to release a new champion every 2 weeks.

    I started way back in August 2011, when Season 1 was close to ending (a couple of months away). I remember the newest character released was Wukong/Yorick.

    I was a closed beta pl ayer, I don't remember much of the game from back then I just remember stacking sunfire capes was really annoying. lol. I don't even remember what my first champion was it might have been AShe or Garen though since it was nothing but the few limited champions available at that time.

    I first encountered League in mid of 2010 or so, when Malhazar was among the newest champs. I remember playing and failing with him a lot, then gave up on the game for a while because he was too hard to play.

    I first started playing in season 2 and I would pick Xin Zhao and go bot lane. Looking back I am not entirely sure why I picked that but it was fun for a bit. Then I saw a video of Doublelift playing Vayne and immediately began saving up to buy that champion which led me to play Vayne for a while.

    I've been playing since about the start if this year I'm sure but played for a very short time before that because my pc then couldn't handle it. It must be a year before so that would make it beginning 2013. And I'm so very sure that I've played Vel'koz at that time and that there even was his art in the client login screen.

    I remember when I started I played Annie, and when I came back about a year later I started playing what I though was a really well rounded champ with a great skillset...Teemo.

    He wasn't new when I came back so I got abused for spamming such a noob champ by my friends.

    My first champion was Xin Zhao and I used to play it bot lane. Looking back, I am not entirely sure why. Also it took me a little bit of time to grasp the concept that I needed to last hit the minions in order for it to count.

    My earliest champion was Swain and I choose it because it was the first champion that I managed to do a kill with xD so I just bought him on the shop for that reason. I joined LoL almost 2 years ago but now I am kind of quitting it because of the dumbness of the players.
