When do you stop paying for a game?

My recent experience with WoW and unsubbing has gotten me to think about why I actually did so now. There's been plenty of times in the past where I kept on playing and paying, even though I was pretty bored with the current content in WoW.

So when do you stop paying your monthly subscription? What draws the line for you?

I stop paying for a game once I have purchased it. Any additional purchases are made strictly if I want for example, a super cool outfit or something like that. Even then, I still am hesitant to spend money. I dislike when games have you pay monthly subscriptions, etc.

MMO game subscriptions make sense to me. So if I want to play something enough, then I would subscribe. I draw the line when I am bored and I want a break from it, or if the game has changed so much that I no longer want anything to do with it. Eg: Star Wars Galaxies.

$15/mo is really nothing. That's one lunch or less than an hour of pay. If people have issues paying that, then they shouldn't be playing games in the first place. Their priorities should be adjusted.

Just like what the other guy have said, if you could afford to play the game and compensate with its monthly subscription then go ahead. But if you can't and still continue to try to play it and complain about how expensive it is then go find another game.
