What company is your laptop or PC from?
I own a laptop which is by Samsung. My laptop is currently really slow though, it's quite new too, only like 1 or 2 years old.
    What's yours from?

Asus, windows 7, like 2 year old laptop, still quite fast and usable, bought it when my desktop wasn't working very well because the graphics card was broken, so just bought a cheap looking laptop to use, but now I use this more because I can bring it anywhere and it loads faster than my desktop :) Although the screen is smaller than my desktop monitor which sucks.

Oh nice, my laptop is a Windows 7 too! My other computer is really slow and old. I use my laptop more too.
My current graphics card is quite bad but it's okay. Not as good as PCs though.

I haven't owned a branded computer in about 15 years. I've been custom building because I like getting parts that I can trust instead of just some cheap junk some vendor got a huge deal on. My current rig is a bit outdated but I'm slowly saving up for something better--just wish that every time I put together a parts list and get ready to order, that those parts aren't already obsolete. I'm also waiting to see how Windows 8.1 is going to turn out for hardcore gamers or if I should just get 7/Vista. Yes, I still run XP because it's stable and I don't like change that much.

It started off as a Dell Inspiron about 6 years ago using Windows Vista, then I upgraded the RAM, video card and internal HD. Eventually I replaced the motherboard, CPU and the case with a Zalman Z9 and upgraded the OS to Windows 7. The Z9 case allows more upgrades over time, instead of buying a completely new computer.

I assembled a computer by myself. It has been now working 4 and a half years and I am happy for it since it only cost around 450$. In addition, it runs games really well since I bought a good graphics card.

Currently, my laptop is made by ASUS, which is one of my favorite brands, I've had a couple laptops by them and they've done me well.

I have two desktops and a laptop from HP, and I have a Tablet PC from Sony (VAIO Tap 11). I also have an iMac that I use for iOS app testing (one of the requirements of the work I do).

I use a lenovo laptop. I think Lenovo/IBM thinkpads are good quality laptops and last a very long time.

My PC is Asus/Windows 7 and it was bought last mid 2011. I don't have a laptop but I always borrow it from my sister and it was Lenovo/Windows 8.

My computer is made by Dell. It's branding is Alienware. I think it's currently 4 years old. (It'll be time to put old Bessie down, unless she surpasses the typical year of life span for computers. :( I need my gaming hardware!)

Macbook Pro. I've had it for a few year now and I still love it. My last one was a macbook that was one of the first intel Mac's. It lasted from 2006 until 2012, right after I got this one.

Custom built PC to play games and do some heavy duty work/running heavy programs. I haven't used a branded PC in years. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop for generic stuff like work and streaming.

I have a net book made by ASUS which is 7 years old. That recently died though. Damn shame. That thing was like the Energizer bunny.

Although I ultimately prefer Asus, as of now, I am a Dell user.

Yea I had never heard of Asus 7 years ago when I bought it. It was the only thing in my price range. But it did not disappoint. And even though I said it died it still turns on. It just says hard drive cannot be found.

Maybe if something can be done cheaply to get it to boot up I will have it repaired. Still has Windows XP on it, which Microsoft has stopped offering support for.
