    The Elder Scrolls Online tells the grand story of a three-way war between three great alliances, the First Aldmeri Dominion led by Queen Ayrenn, composed of the Altmers (High Elf), Bosmers (Wood Elf), and Khajiits; the Daggerfall Covenant led by High King Emeric, composed of the Bretons, Redguards, and Orsimers (Orcs); and the Ebonheart Pact led by Jorunn Skald-King, composed of the Nords, Dunmers (Dark Elf), and Argonians.

    When I played the game, I aligned myself with the Daggerfall Covenant since they had two of my favorite character races: Bretons and Redguards. Out of all the Elder Scroll games I have, I always played one of the two races throughout multiple playthroughs, Though I chose Bretons most of the time since I love hurling fireballs at enemies and they're the perfect choice to make a magic knight build from.

    I went with the Ebonheart Pact since I always play as a Dark Elf, even in other Elder Scrolls games. I don't regret the decision at all, though to be honest, I don't really see the big differences between each faction, I think it's superficial.
