    You can take a look at the different door varieties here. I personally like the spruce door the most. It looks medivalish, so it is great for building castles, storngholds and other medieval builds! My close second would be the dark wood door, perfect for building a big, fancy house!

    Which door do you like best? Why? Do you find any of them ugly?

    I'm sorry I didn't see a link. :) Could you post some pics or something? I didn't hear about this at all, that's pretty cool. I've always been a fan of spruce wood, and think it would look nice as a door.

    It's there. Click on the word "here" in the first sentence. It is almost the same colour as the rest of the text, so it is a bit hard to see. I will change the colour now to make it stand out more.

    Very cool thanks. I like the birch and aspacia doors. I think it's cool how they also changed the style of them to make it appear like it's from an exotic biome, and not just a changed color.

    The jungle door! Man, that is a great design in my opinion. It reminds me of the kind of door that would typically lead into a big dungeon. I played a lot of dungeon crawler-esque games, so I really like this one.

    I, myself, love the Spruce door as well. I'm a big fan of medieval Minecraft builds/roleplays and I think that this design will serve as a great detail. Nonetheless, all these doors are awesome and have their own roles in other themes. I've never seen these textures before, so I'm assuming they are part of a new update.

    Yes, they indeed are! They just came out a few days ago with the 14w32d snapshot, along with coloured beacons and fences for all wood types!

    I really like the Acadia door, most of my builds are in the military catagory, from air bases to sea fortresses to huge bases on mountains. This type of door really suits my style.

    Ugh, I hate the birch door. :) I'm not sure if the white part is supposed to look like glass or that Japanese paper, it just doesn't look right to me.

    I like the iron door. An iron door will be much harder to get through depending on what setting you are playing on.

    Birch does look nice on some texture packs though, but I agree with you it does kind of look like Japanese rice paper.

    That dark oak door will fit really nicely to my house. FINALLY. I've been waiting forever for new doors.

    I'm not really into the specifics of designing, so I'll create whatever door is closest to my cursor really. The door types look nice, but I'm usually trying to survive against other players, so a door makes me far more noticeable than if I'm hiding underground or even in a tree.
