Which position are you most effective in?

Which position do you usually take when playing the game? Ganker, pusher, support, carry, tank?

For me, I usually go for all of them, with the exception of a carry hero. I really hate the idea of killing creeps for gold all game long, and then just playing for the last ten minutes or so of the game. Also, the whole game rests on your shoulders to keep farming and quickly getting your item build, as well as being the target of the enemy team to get their carry more time to farm. It's a really boring early-mid game, and if you fail at those, your late game is going to suck too. What about you guys?

I try to play all roles as I find playing just one gets a bit boring after a while but my favorite roles are tank and support because that's the one least likely to die and I'm actually not that good so I do die very often when I'm the target lol.

I wouldn't say most effective but the position that I'm definitely better is Jungle. I always play that role when it's available, it's the one I have the most fun and I usually do pretty good too, based on my experience.

I've only been used to two roles which is jungling and going top. But majority of the time, I tend to jungle as I main that role specifically and love playing OP champs such as Jax. I've been really grinding videos and watching pro's play to fully know how to play my role. If you have a good jungler early on you can say that 80% of the time you're likely to win. Other than that, those two positions that I mentioned above are the ones I'm most effective in.

I should really start trying to play the other roles as well as they have their own significance's too. I do play support time to time but when I do it's normally the champ Blitzcrank as I love his pulling feature. He can be REALLY effective late game as it will help in team fights.

I'm better at ADC mostly because I played carries in DotA and got used to farming well and being a high priority target that kites around teamfights. I have to say I don't enjoy ADC as much nowadays and would rather make a move to top lane, I love playing around with tp!

I'm terrible at jungle because I always have to remind myself to farm whereas if I'm in lane I can farm while harassing the opposing laner. Whenever I'm forced to jungle most of the time I am still in a support or lane mindset so I end up chasing kills and forgetting to farm lol.

I find I'm really good in support, but I feel like I'm best as a jungler. Once you know what you are doing, it's one of the better positions to play. It mostly depends on which heroes you feel most comfortable with.

I prefer support since I'm good at managing healing and buffs for other players. In WoW, I always played as a healing priest, and was best in a support role. I'd rather focus on making my own team stronger than taking out the enemies.

I agree. Sometimes it's more in being comfortable with the hero rather than being in the right role. Some characters enable me to play well in roles I usually don't pick up and some characters I am not comfortable with end up making me feed in a role I'm supposedly comfortable with.

I would easily say that my best role is being a jungler. My jungle champion pool is by far the largest of any role for me. The heavy emphasis on game knowledge and map awareness from the jungle suits my playstyle a lot more than mechanically outplaying someone in the mid lane. I also feel like jungle has the most versatile champions in the game. I can go AD or AP depending on what the team needs, as well as scaling or non-scaling, carry or tank, etc. That being said, I feel I do best on Bruisers and Tanks with the exception of Kha'zix who is an exception to that trend.

Mid lane for sure, I play really good when I'm solo and not bothered by anyone (I usually tell my jungler to pay attention to the others lanes early on). I'm also good at ganking and roaming so I always make sure to help out my team.

Mid lane for me or support in some cases. I'm almost absolute trash in other roles mainly because I never even tried them. I envy those who have great flexibility and can alter between roles for their teammates. I remember once I took top lane as a Graves because every other role was basically called for already in a normal game. 0/0/0. Team was fighting dragon while I'm just chilling up there. Team fight broke out while I'm still up there chilling.

I think i'm the best when I'm support, but I do end up playing tank more often than I would like. You need a good team composition to do anything useful, so I usually wait until everyone has picked and choose based on what I think will be most useful.

Although most people will disagree with me here, the Support role can carry games indirectly. If you can play a great support champion bot lane, then your ADC will be unbeatable later on. I mainly play Blitz, "the God hand". I can easily carry a game with him. My ADCs end up with over 10 kills by the 20th minute.

I think do best in jungle, I've tried to get better at support but I'm just useless at it, I don't think I enjoy it enough to put effort into improving.

This is my second choice as a role because I like roaming and having more freedom. Although sometimes being expected to be the versatile one can come with its own set of frustrations as well.

Yeah, if you roam too much and your team is too far behind you can do more harm than good. In those situations I tend to stay on my lane and at least try to win it. It's pointless going bottom when that lane is 0/5, for example.

I have been a jungler ever since season 1 and this will always be my best role. I have tried to switch roles many times but the jungle is perfect for me and I feel like I can impact the game much better.

I would say I'm most effective in the jungle. This doesn't tie me to a lane match up and allows me to go where I'm needed most or where I feel I could be most useful. A lot of the time games are decided early on and so having the ability to pressure whoever I want can win the game within ten minutes. I guess this suits me best.
