    lol "Horrible romantic action movies". This thread was actually started by a spambot, but it's actually a good thread. :)

    I like movies which make you think or grab your emotions. Stuff like Fast and Furious seems trivial and ultimately pointless. It might be fun to watch, but does it make you a better person, or give a moral message?

    Of course, fun movies have their place! :D

    That's a very good answer, as I'd usually just say "Fast and the furious".
    I finally got to see The Book Of Eli here the other day, and at the end, I was all "Wait, whaaaaat?".

    My taste in movies is basically anything that isn't romantic comedy. I'm still quite picky though, I's hard to describe what makes a good movie for me though.

    (Not my favourite films but good examples of the sorts of movies I like to watch)

    Comedy - The pick of Destiny, A Clockwork Orange (I don't think that's supposed to be a comedy but I thought it was hilarious.)

    Horror - Paranormal Activity... LOL JOKE That was the worst horror movie i've ever seen. Never seen a horror movie that has actually frightened me but The Shining is great and so funny.

    Action/War - First blood part 1, 2 and Rambo 3. Band of brothers series.

    Sci-Fi and apocalypse sorta shit - Original starwars trilogy, The Book Of Eli, I am Legend.

    Just a few.

    It's not much the genre that I'm mainly interested in it's the setting. Dystopian, Apocalyptic, Zombies and just well anything in between. I like comedies as well.

    I enjoy apocalyptic movies because I like to view other people's representations of them. Other than apocalyptic movies I like movies that are as real as possible. When I say that I mean movies like "Saving private Ryan" and "Quarantine". Movies that I could say "yeah, I'd believe that" after watching them. But of course the urge to watch a multitude of differing genres is quite present if not constant...

    Mainly horror, science fiction, foreign and western movies. Some of my favorite movies - Man With No Name Trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner, Let the Right One In and Cria Cuervos.
