    Whispers of Chaos was formed in January of 2012 by two of the founding members of Legend-Gaming; *Xenith and Finn.
    Having joined Legend-Gaming in May of 2012, officially, Whispers of Chaos hopes to bring back the spirit of the great gaming community by following in the footsteps of the original masterpiece of Hand of Set established by Legend-Gaming in 2006 (in 2008 Hand of Set was released from Legend Gaming while the website and forums were discontinued by owner at that time). A string of very bad games has left the community upset with the MMO circuit. But the community, as always, has performed flawlessly by establishing the #1 Pre-game guild in Age of Conan. Hand of Set also went on to become a juggernaut on the server Cimmeria. It also established one of the #1 guilds on it's server in Warhammer (Volkmar-Legend), though Warhammer was short lived due to the sad nature of the game. Most recently, it has dominated with its Star Wars Old Republic Chapter Jen’jidai (formed in 2009) on the server Jung Ma. It has accumulated many server firsts, PVP firsts, and was one of the best pre-launch guilds.


    Whispers of Chaos

    (Referring to those who spread disorder and confusion) is and RP/PvP-PvE guild for the MMO Guild Wars 2. This guild is a chapter of the multi-gaming network; Legend-Gaming. Legend-Gaming was first established in early 2007 by Zurual Drahl, Sanakhti, and other leaders of the AoC guild, Hand of Set. Since then, they have expanded into other games like Warhammer Online and Darkfall. Currently, Legend-Gaming has one other chapter in Star Wars The Old Republic; Jen’jidai, which is a top guild and is dominating the game

    Guild Wars 2 (GW2) presents and opportunity unlike any other MMO ever created. It is set in a unique classic fantasy world, with rich lore and history. It is being produced my NCsoft; they pride themselves in revolutionary game play from their breathtaking PvE missions to fast paced, Esport worthy PvP. This is very exciting for us because these are the same awesome game ideas our entire community is based on. The possibilities are endless. Our members will have the opportunity to stretch their legs in a world where they can be, the savior, or the destroyer? Will they be emotionally open or a void of emptiness? What will you be? What adventures will you undertake?


    Whispers of Chaos and Legend-Gaming have always prided themselves on organization and lore driven gaming. We feel it elevates the player’s gaming experience if he/she is in an environment where they can completely engross themselves into the game and all it has to offer. What makes us unique is our equal focus on Lore, PvP, and PvE. Though we consider ourselves a guild of hardcore gamers, we still embrace the immersion which can come from being in a MMORPG world.


    Our focus, as a guild, is to provide our members with the tools and opportunities they deserve to get maximum enjoyment from this MMO. We are a hardcore guild which plans to fully invest ourselves in all facets this game offers, be it PvE endgame dungeons, advanced and organized Role-Play character development, and Player Verses Player (PvP) engagements.

    The leadership and membership of this community have more than ten years of gaming experience in some of the harshest PvP environments including Shadowbane, Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot, and the Lineage series. Though we consider ourselves exceptional at PvP and PvE, we also embrace the values of Role-Play and immersion.

    PVP

    Structured PVP
    Whispers of Chaos plans on having a semi-professional (professional based on success) 5v5 Structured PVP Team. (Team Chaos.)

    Team Chaos is a group of likeminded players with a lot of MMO experience together. Currently we have 3 of 5 team members. We plan on having a website dedicated to this team soon.

    To join this portion of the guild, talk to Draecor or Osyrix for more details.

    WOC also plans on having structured PVP for everyone too, no matter the skill level we will try to accommodate you.

    WvWvW

    WOC plans on having multiple raids dedicated to controlling territory in the mists, and making sure our server comes out victorious (with a slice of a keep for ourselves).

    PVE

    Dungeons

    We plan to have multiple dungeon teams to conquer both the normal content and harder modes. Server firsts and World firsts are ideal.

    World Bosses

    As a guild effort we will try to down world bosses daily so we can help get loot for our guild and let our name be known server wide.

    How to join us?

    In order to join Whispers of Chaos, an applicant must fulfill these requirements:

    • Your character's name should be lore appropriate. (No Legolas, or Darth Vader names)
    • You must be prepared to use Ventrillo and be logged into the vent server whenever you are logged into the game (Post Release Only -exceptions can be made in certain circumstances).
    • You must be 17 years of age. Some exceptions are made for family members, younger siblings, and children of current members.
    • Understand you are joining a community, not a guild. Upon joining Whispers of Chaos, you are joining Legend-Gaming. So if you're not looking for a tight knit community concept, we're not the right fit for you.
    • Be an active member of the guild and contribute to guild events, PVP, dungeons, and so forth both pre-release and post-release.
    • Roleplay is encouraged, this guild has extensive lore (under construction). However, you do not have to roleplay if you choose not to.

    If you are looking for a community of gamers with the like mindedness of being the best guild on any server we choose....Then WoC is where you want to be. Not only are we the number 1 guild on the Jung Ma server for SW:TOR we are withing the top 25 in the WORLD and we plan to do the same in Guild Wars 2.

    I am the PvP Department Head for Whispers of Chaos, a chapter of Legend Gaming. I'm looking for dedicated PvP'rs who want to take our guild to the top of the charts. We have an organized guild with solid leadership and the members we have are driven individuals looking to put our guild on the top of the charts.

    This is a community guild with strict but easy to follow requirements for joining and staying in the community/guild. We do have activity requirements, and we enforce them. This allows us to only recruit QUALITY members from the Guild Wars 2 community.

    A guild is formed by the members in it, leadership is important, but a community always has the leaders it deserves. We have dedicated members who will do all in their power to make the guild prosper, consequently, our leaders have the same attitude, and one ensures the behavior of the other.

    If you're looking for a serious guild with the qualities above, check our forums and apply. But remember, the only way to keep the quality is being selective, and that we are. So take your time to fill in the application.

    This is by far one of the most active communities you will ever see. We make a very good try to make chapters in ALL major games coming out as long as we can see that there is high interest in the gaming world. If you're looking for an active community with the potential to expand SIGNIFICANTLY....then Legend Gaming is for you and WoC is for you if GW2 is the game you see yourself playing for years to come!

    Next beta weekend was announced! June 8th is coming and WoC is already in preparation for it. Come check our forums, talk to us, coordinate and come play the beta weekend with us. If you like what you see you can apply. If this is your intention, make sure to read all directions properly of course ;)

    If you're looking for a great, close-knit community with big aspirations then you have come to the right place! I'd have to say Whispers of Chaos is by far one of the best guilds for Guild Wars 2. We've got departments set up to cater to the aspects in-game and without that you are most interested in (i.e. PVP, PVE, RolePlay). We basically do it all and then some.

    Our community is very welcoming! You just have to summon up the courage to apply, be dedicated to the guild, and voila, recipe for successful and happy gaming!

    The irony of Guild Wars 2 is that you don't need a guild to play the game. One can run along solo going place to place joining and disjoining dynamic events and the ever flow of zerg in WvW or pickup groups of sPvP.

    However,

    You loose a lot of content, time, and fun doing that.

    Having fellows with experience in mmo's and that are active in the beta testing experience can put alot more joy into the gaming experience that is Guild Wars 2. Whispers of Chaos brings all these elements and more for its members that supports all aspects the game is providing now in its beta plus what is rumored to come out in future expansions.

    There are great individuals in this guild. We're a community oriented group that treats one another like an online family. However on the RP side of things Whispers of Chaos is an evil guild. So give us a try if you're looking for a great community or friends to play GW2 with, and if you've been searching for a great story to entrench your character in. Check us out!
