I personally think that the game is in a good state for most champions. I think they need to revert some or all of the zhonyas nerfs because my favorite champions are ap and those champions that build one earlier on are weaker because they require more gold. Right now ad champions are better than most ap champions because of the item difference in cost and items but due to this teams tend to be full ad.

Right now, Riot's been trying to shift the meta towards much shorter games, which means that many super-late-game focused champions don't get a chance to truly shine (namely champions with core items that build out of Tear). Most other champions are fine, however. New keystone masteries really make for good synergy with many champions, such as Brand with Deathfire Touch.

The new meta has also brought back some weird picks onto Summoner's Rift – according to NerfPlz, Support Brand is extremely viable at the moment.

Jax seems to have risen from ashes. The last time he meant anything was back in 2013, then got nerfed, then buffed again. Up until now, he's been balanced with a little emphasis on broken, but now he's a super monster able to burn out top laners in a matter of seconds.

The second place on the pedestal is occupied by Mundo I think. Oh, God, Mundo Support's such a mess. For the enemy ADC, obviously.
