What is the reason you guys play Minecraft? Do you enjoy it because of its creativity, its massive worlds, its PvP?

For me, it's the raiding and PvP. You can do whatever you want, destroy people's houses, make alliances, gain loot. There are endless possibilities.

I love the fact that everyworld is randomly generated and I just like to go out and explore and make a cool looking base

Pvping, interacting with fellow crafters and definately grinding for stuff. Nothing more satisfying then getting 10 double chests of oak logs.

The never-ending open world. I tend to play the game in single player as if I was a survivor man. There's so much to be done in any Minecraft world.

There's always something to do! Seriously, how could you ever get bored. Plus there is nothing like planning a huge project, then getting completely sucked in until it is completed.

Big worlds: Grinding, survival etc. The concept is great, however if you master the basics it'll be less interesting since you can survive so easily.

I don't really know why exactly. But I play the game because it's not like other games I've played before, I mean sure it probably is a rehash of another game but it brings in a new vibe. I think it's the simplicity of the game itself that got me into it in the first place, just the fact that a game so simple in terms of visuals and gameplay can be so much fun, proves that you don't really need a big game to make it a hit.

I just farm and pretty much explore and build. It's been my time sink for quite some time now and I don't see that changing in the future because of the abundance of things you can do in the game.

Exploring the endless world, growing my empire along with friends. Battling my enemies and watching them being crushed to defeat, building really cool and amazing looking buildings (such as a fortress) and showing them off to other players.

I play for the exploration and mining since I find those two the most entertaining parts of the game. I am slowly getting into the redstone and automated creation part of the game.

I personally love Mine craft for the limitless possibilities of creativity. I also love how no two people seem to have the same idea as to what it is they want to create. One person may create a McDonald's and other person may sit and create a Pokemon themed world. I also love the feel of accomplishment that I get when I completely build a world out of something that was once nothing but trees, mountain, snow, and sand. Also it seems as if no cave is alike on the Mine craft server unless you somehow get the same seed as someone else. I also am drawn to the random animals you seem to get as you go along on your journey. So all in all I love Mine Craft for the reasons of Exploring, Uniqueness, and Boundless possibilities. :D  :) :p

Exploring. I love games where you can explore the whole map and find loads of natural creations like mountains and floating islands, also the map never ends so I can explore foreverr!

I play Minecraft to pass the time. I often have a lot of downtime in my work so what better place to spend it than being creative and putting together a huge building.

There are two big reasons I play Minecraft. Firstly, I love the relaxing and fun gameplay of building shelter, farming, exploring, all of it comes together to create a wonderful world specifically generated for me. Secondly, I love the online servers you can get into. Everything from horror adventure maps to Skyfall, to my favorite, The Hunger Games. Finding a server you love is a great experience, and that is why I play Minecraft.

What kind of work do you do? Do you just take your laptop with you and play? Sounds great.

I enjoy playing minecraft immensely. I love how we can explore the endless world and sail the ocean as we please. It is the perfect place to escape reality when it becomes a bit too much to handle. I love the simplicity of the game and how sometimes i surprise myself by unexpectedly creating something beautiful, like my house and other things. I just love everything about minecraft. :3

I enjoy playing Minecraft because I am able to literally build anything I would like, the game has the same concept as lego but there is something much more satisfying about this game..

Because the kids I work with love it, and it gives them a creative out. Some of them really need that in their lives, and they choose to use Minecraft for it. So the rest of us bought it and started learning it. Now we've got our own private server just for our place.

I enjoy playing it because it definitely gets rid of my boredom and it lets out my creativity so I can build and explore. It allows me to do what I want and without restrictions. Farming, exploring, building, and surviving are fun things put into just one game is what really makes minecraft fun.

I'd probably say I play it for the endless possibilities, especially when you bring mods into the equation.

I can create huge structures with impossible physics, I can adventure to various dimensions, defeat countless mobs and bosses, and all with friends.

I haven't really ever played PVP Minecraft, doesn't really appeal to me.
