Why Does Everyone Hate Teemo?

Because when he builds AP, his mushrooms hit like a truck. They're invisible, he can go invisible and his dot does a load of damage and gets reapplied very quickly. And then when you want to kill him, he runs away very quickly. Also you need to attack him at all he can blind you. So he's really annoying to play against.

 

The mushrooms are the main reason I think. They act as wards and damage plus his invisibility can get really inconvenient when you're chasing him. Teemo's a small sprite with low HP but there's a lot of escape built in his skills which can be fairly annoying. A high AP Teemo is a hard target.

 

Teemo is a really annoying character simply because that's how Riot made him. He can literally kill you only with his mushrooms, I'd say that's pretty annoying to play against. Also, the invisibility in his kit is the cherry on top.

 

Most invis heroes aren't too well liked, since they are really strong at low level play but useless at high level play.

 

He doesn't really fit the meta, although teams played Teemo mid and won in tournaments, he's unreliable. With the current picks he can be countered really easily on mid and top, but even if he does well his mushrooms are mostly useless because every team has sweepers.

 

I hate teemo because it's really easy to kill with him, and it's hard to counter because he has no skill to his abilities. Plus the shrooms he puts all over the map are the most annoying play in the whole game.

 

I think he needs a kit revamp in order to be relevant in the meta, otherwise he's just a pick that sometimes works or not. The main problem is that he doesn't have an escape ability and he's squishy to begin with, I would personally make him a top lane champ. Imagine a small guy with 5k health tanking all the damage, haha.

 

Teemo is just an annoying champion. He's not particularlly, which means you probably won't want him on your team, but he's super annoying and most of all, not fun to play against and at lower level games he can stomp, but at higher level ones he's almost useless. Just a poorly designed champion overall, in my opinion.

 

Yeah, this type of thing happens pretty frequently. MOBAs are just an extremely difficult genre to balance for all types of skill levels. It's pretty common in like every MOBA that I've played for characters with stealth mechanics, for example, to be extremely good at lower levels but become less and less useful as you get higher up in rank.

 

teemo is really annoying, full AP would really hurt, and building him on full Tank type would be more annoying since it is quite hard to kill him. But he won't do much if the enemy team would be able to come back stronger, on full AP teemo is like tissue. On full tank he won't have that strong annoying damage. and yes the shrooms can be sweeped by the enemy team.

 

As a level 7 Teemo who owns a Teemo hat I can say that Teemo can be pretty hard to play against. He can almost always win trades and the shrooms give his free vision that deals a ton of damage if you build him full AP. Also he can blind the ADC and he won't deal any damage.
