Why was my thread deleted?

    I posted a thread last night about a major issue I am experiencing, and I awake this morning to find it vanished. I assume it was deleted, but there was no message left from a mod or any type of way for me to know why it is missing.

    I checked for a tech support sub-forum, and there is none. General Discussion seemed the only place to post. If it wasn't, any competent moderator would post on my thread telling me that it was moved somewhere.

    What is going on?

    I wish I could retrieve the text, I wrote up my entire troubleshooting steps. It was in regards to a developer console I was reaching when my game was launching.

    I also have a fix, or workaround, for it now. But I first intend to find out why my thread was deleted.

    Found it. It was moved to a master thread. I wish I was notified in some way.

    I've added my solution to the problems thread. Please mods just in the future if you are going to merge a thread, notify the creator in some way. My subscription that emails me when there is another post did not carry over to the new thread, and there was no way I was notified.
