    Hey every body,

I'm not sure if this the right place for this stuff or not, but I recently came across what I believe to be some incorrect information on the games' wiki. Now obviously it would be impossible to correct every little piece of information on the wiki that could be considered wrong, but for some reason this little bit just bugs me. It's something in the trivia section of the RPK-74 and about how it uses a disintegrating belt to feed ammunition into the gun. I'm pretty sure the RPK isn't belt fed. I tried to do the responsible thing and do some research before I posted this thread, but I couldn't find anything to support the claim that it's belt fed. I also looked up some images of RPK drums and they don't seem to use belts. I'm pretty sure they confused the RPK for the RPD( Which you may know from CoD 4 ). Like I said I know it's a small thing, but sometimes it's the small stuff that bugs me the most. I guess what I'm saying is I can edit the wiki myself, but that doesn't necessarily mean I should. Especially for something so little. If everyone went around changing information on the wiki because they thought it was wrong without being totally sure it would probably be a big mess. Also, I hate the possibility of stepping on someone's toes so to speak.

The RPK encloses the belt to prevent jams the RPD is just the roided up version

For any one who actually cares or is just interested in learning about weapons in general. This is not a prototype or some custom model. This is a standard RPK drum mag. Notice the lack of a belt.

Just a heads up, that video was for a drum mag for the original RPK, 7.62 Caliber. The weapon in the game is an RPK-74, 5.45 Caliber. There are mass produced drum magazines for the original RPK, but the ones for the RPK-74 never got past prototypes and are extremely rare. But as to the original post, I agree and have been annoyed by that very sentence. No RPK of any type uses belts as a feed system. Custom jobs not included.

Thanks for the reassurance BLY4. I was pretty sure, but not totally.
