Will inactive Dust 514 chars last forever?

    In my Google quest to see how long Dust chars last if their accounts are inactive, I got plenty of results reassuring me that my Eve toons will last forever and a day - that they will remain intact forevermore, waiting for the day I might reactivate my account and continue on in my journey across the stars.​


    Is the same true for Dust chars? The reason I'm asking is I'm contemplating giving the game a go on my brother's PS3, but he's going to be moving away in a month or two and I won't be able to get my own in that period of time. I don't want to create a character, make a lot of progress with him, and then have him disappear simply because I can't play for a while​

    I haven't heard or read anything that would indicate Dust characters being deleted. In fact, the accrual of passive SP would imply just the opposite.
