Will there ever be a third faction?

So what do you think? Will they ever introduce a third faction into WoW?

I, for one, was absolutely sure that pandas would be a separate faction altogether but it seems like I was wrong D:
Now after I have had some time to think about it, I personally think a third faction will never be introduced in WoW because of how the game is designed.

No. Why would they? A couple more expansions similar to the old ones to rake in some more money and then it's time to quit development and aim at a new game. No need for massive changes at this point.

I doubt that they ever will. The two faction model is working well already to keep players involved. Also, story-wise it seems like the devs are having a hard enough time giving some story love to all the groups they have in-game already. Adding a third faction, with new groups and new leaders just seems like it would worsen that situation even more.

They had the potential too, just like they had the potential to do a lot of other things and make the game truly epic, but sadly it might be a few expansions too late, and I don't see it happening now.
I see it working, and I've always imagined that Lore-wise, a third Undead-based faction would make most sense. It would include the forsaken, dark elves, perhaps banshees, and a couple of other races that we are familiar with, perhaps the lich undead? Which would be like the undead, but different, sort of like the night elves versus blood elves.

I think two factions is fine. The lore of the game already have characters working cross faction all the time anyway. The line between the faction continues to be blurred.

I agree that it is probably too late to introduce a third faction. I have been hoping that they would allow a few more races to choose their side. Taurens , for instance, seem to work well with the Night Elves. Goblins will take advantage of anyone. Of course, who know what might happen after this next expansion-the whole world may explode and it becomes every race for itself!

No, the game is already to deep and developed to make such a dramatic change.
Game is fine the way it is to be honest, it does not need a third faction.

I don't think there would ever be a reason to add another faction to be honest. Not to mention they would have to mess with a huge amount of the lore that has been in place for a really long time now. Then you have game mechanics, giving that faction its own zones and such.
