Will your first playthrough be vanilla, or will you use mods?

I always play my Bethesda game with mods. However, FO4 is the first Bethesda game that I'll be playing on day one. So...I think I'm going to play vanilla the first time around. I may install graphical mods or UI mods during my first playthrough, but I won't do anything major until after I've gotten through that first one. More than likely.

I'll try to play vanilla, especially since I want to get a feel for how the game was designed and if they did a good job at launch, but I'll probably mod the hell out of it afterwards.

Vanilla. I prefer not to mod most of my games (Minecraft is the only exception.), because I like to experience them as they were designed to be experienced. Fallout 4 specially, as this game will be the highlight of my year and I want to enjoy it properly.

Pure vanilla. I like to get a feel for a game from day one, whether I'm actually buying it on day one or not. Besides, Bethesda usually crams so much stuff into their games that I'm not fearful of needing a mod to somehow extend game play.

Now, after the first few months, mods galore.

Especially one day one, you have to go with the vanilla experience or you're just cheating yourself out of what the games was originally intended to be by Bethesda.

Plus, the first few dozen mods are going to be pretty rough around the edges when the game comes out. Some of them will probably break the game in one way or another, so it's best to avoid them right after the game is released, if any significant mods even come out.

I'm not going to lie. I prefer the vanilla experience of games. I've used tons of mods in the past, but I still prefer most games as they were originally designed.

Vanilla. I actually don't like playing with mods, but who knows maybe they do some great modifications that I eventually would like to try.

Vanilla probably, I might throw on some minor graphics enhancers but for the most part want the real deal the first time through.

I always play a game in vanilla mode the first time through. I feel like it gives me a true understanding of what the designers had in mind. I worry that I won't fully appreciate the game or the mod if I start modding right off the bat. Once I've played through the main storyline, I will definitely try out the mods. By that time, I can also take advantage of the reviews other players have posted so I will know which ones will be worth trying for myself.

My first playthrough is definitely going to be vanilla. I like experiencing the game the way the developers wanted me to experience it, and see how everything has changed since the last Fallout game. Slapping on new armor, weapons or graphical mods just ruins it for me, on the first few play-throughts. I usually mod a game after I have become seriously bored with the original version with no mods.
