World vs World Season 1: How are things going?

    I admit, I haven't played much the past few weeks. The server and skill lag has been so intense during prime time that I can't even play PvE. Anet blames this on the new inflow of players, even more so in World vs World itself, but the technical difficulties had prevented me from enjoying the game. Most of the time, I just go to GW2 just to chat with my friends -- making it a glorified Yahoo Messenger. :/

    Anyway, how are things going on your end? Was the league as fun and as exciting as Anet promised it to be?
