Worth doing the daily quest of mining, foraging and butchering?

The experience gain from finishing the quests and the faction gain (unless your glorified in all 3) make it worth it. If not, no I don't do mine on characters that are already glorified and level 60.

 

The quests tell you which faction you're getting notoriety for. You can look at your character sheet under notoriety tab to see your faction notoriety level. The notoriety is character based, not account based. So each character earns its own. It is not shared. But, you can level notoriety on a single character and mail the runes from the main character to alts because the runes are now account bound. This somewhat circumvents the need to max notoriety on alts.

 

You can also spend those at the . . . Specialty Crafting Vendor?--the third NPC outside the crafthall in Tempest Bay by quest giver and dimension recipe person. 6 Master and 60 regular marks will get you a chest of random craft goodies (materials, cash, vendor trash, the occassional recipe or augment).
