Now I realise how farfetched this is, but magine if you will, you've completed all the dungeons, all the raids, every storyling of every expansion, there's no longer anything of note left to do in WoW, what do you do, go Orcing for noobs? Join up in some Faction wars? sitting around and wait for the next expansion pack to be released, or pull a GTA and just roam around causing mayhem and destructiong wantonly?

Well there are battlegrounds to play, achievements to complete, arena battles to win, and of course Blizzard is pretty good at introducing new content on a fairly regular basis - every 2 years for major expansions, but every 6 months or so for large patches that often bring new questions, new dungeons or raids, etc.

If there was absolutely nothing left to do, then I would probably move on to a different game, to be honest.

I used to play WoW primarily for the PvP Battlegrounds. Since Battlegrounds is broken due to excessive botting, WoW no longer gives me any enjoyment whatsoever. In that case, I haven't subscribed to the game since July and only played about 3 hours a few weeks ago when they had the free week.

So to answer the question, I play other games, do other hobbies. The answer to the unsaid question for "Would you ever go back to WoW?" is that there is always the possibility. It's just a matter whether Blizzard fixes Battlegrounds or not.

If there was nothing left to do I would roam around causing mayhem and destruction, or go play dota 2 :) Blizzard offers enough entertainment portals for your enjoyment. But for me DotA is my passion. I mean after all it was WOW that introduced me to DotA in the first place right?

There's always going to be new raids added in game. It's usually the last 6 months of an expansion that's the most boring, however I level alts, troll dungeons and trawl BGs now and then. With pet battles and now garrisons, I can occupy my time with that as well.

Wait for the next patch, that's what I would do!

Well, if a game is beat then it's just beat. I'll pat myself on the back, congratulate myself, then move on to the next game that catches my fancy. Thankfully, I don't think any of us has to worry about this in regards to WoW ever being completely finished.

You can always level up an alt, especially on the other faction, so you can do new quests and see content from a new perspective. Also, the best course of action, if you spent that much time on the game, would be to take a break and either go play something else, or take a break from gaming altogether.

Honestly going gta is best the best thing to do because you can just do you! lol. Just walk around and meet new people, help out noobs inspect every little thing in the game. You can also just start doing a lot of crafting and stuff like that, if you're into that.
