X-MEN Days Of Future Past

    I feel that the X-Men movies weren't up to par with the actual comic (except the Wolverine ones) -as in awesomness- and think that for that reason, people don't really see the X-Men as being good movie material, leading them to focus only on Avengers and Iron Man; but now, I believe that it might change with their upcoming movie Day of Future Past. I'm not sure over what span of the actual comic book(s) story they're going to cover, since this story alone make appearances (crossovers) in other comics; but depending on the way that they do it, it can turn into a two part movie. For sure, the plot of the movie will solely be based on the two issues of the X-Men -#141-142:

    Basically, the covers of the comics explain it all, but to go a bit further, I'll just say that it's in a dystopian future where mutants are hunted down and killed by the robot(s) on the second cover know as Sentinels. I don't want to spoil any more than that.


    Here's the trailer, which doesn't look all that promising, but I think they're keeping it low profile until its release:
