Whatver happened with it? Have they still been upgrading it or has it been pretty stagnant, I played years ago on it and just wondering if its worth bringing out again.

I don't know about the 360 version, but there's plenty of content in the Xbox One version. :3

Yep, what troutski said. They're constantly updating the XBONE version with new features and it has come close to the PC version. Give it a try, it's worth it!

From what I gather, it's quite behind both PC and PS3. Not really sure why though, being that Microsoft now owns it. You'd think they'd be all about the Xbox version, not just Xbox One.

Even though they put out "next-gen" (well, current now) versions out, they are still crippled heavily. For example, not even the Xbox One is capable of rendering an infinite world, while even a mobile device now can. It's stupid, but it proves how behind consoles actually are.

I haven't played the 360 version for too long since I found it lacking compared to the PC Version. Hopefully they'll remember the 360 users and give them a bone, but I wouldn't place bets on it happening soon.

I think they recently did an update on the 360 version but they didn't really add anything useful? I suppose it would be nice if you were into cosmetic building and not really the whole survival aspect because the one major thing the last update added was different wood type items (doors, fences, etc). They really need to step their game up because these updates are coming slowly and slowly but I know they are trying to push us towards the next gen consoles. I'm waiting for the day when the next gen consoles aren't so far behind from the PC version.

There are still updates rolling out for it, just at a much slower rate than PC. For the most part, it's hard to push out constant updates for the console version of games just due to the way that Sony/Microsoft update screening works. It generally takes them a couple of weeks just to push out whatever content you have to the public and in a game like Minecraft where updates are every month it gets in the way of things.

I can't imagine they care too much about the older versions. The PC version will always be the newest and most updates. Next in line would be pocket edition and maybe the consoles are equally updated. Bear in mind the pocket edition has significantly less than all other versions but is worked on frequently.

I'm gathering from this that updatewise, it seems like the PC version would be the easiest route to take..but yeah, consoles don't genereally update as quickly as a PC version for most updatable games...don't worry too much. If it's Microsoft, more than likely, they'll get to it sooner or later.

the game has been updated quite a bit, with improved controls, new worlds and new features with dimensions and stuff it certainly has changed. I only put about 10 hours into the game when it first came out but have been following it for some time now and it has come a long way!
