This new guy is stupidly over powered, I've played 2 games now where an unfed Yasuo has carried a crap team... so unfair..this level of over powered players just ruins the game. I always get worried when I see a new character come out. Has anyone else noticed this?

I think he is fine, you need a lot of farm when playing him so he can make decent damage, of course when he gets a couple kills or a lot of farm, he gets pretty strong, but that's just every champion in the game.

I've played against a few Yasuos and haven't found any to really be all that much "better" than any other champions. That said he does seem to be a little stronger than average, this usually seems to be the case whenever new champions are released. Sometimes I can't help but feel Riot purposely does it so people buy him when he's at his highest RP/IP.

Once you rush that Statik Shiv, he becomes very fun to play. I think his dashes are definitely very op. It gives him great mobility to go in and out of battles and especially dodge enemies skillshot abilities. Not only does he has his mobility to dodge abilities, but this wind wall as well! I've played against several Yasuo as well when it first came out and it definitely was not easy going against him because of his ability to dash in and out constantly. This makes mid lane very hard to play for AP champions players.

I'm always sure that a champion will be OP as heck once they make a spotlight for him but here I don't think that that's the case. He doesn't get played often enough to justify him being OP. I have to agree though his ability to block projectiles is something unique and pretty strong.

I feel like he's similar to tryndamere where he can carry games by himself if your team doesn't all focus him. If you're playing solo queue then it's a lot harder to co-ordinate your teams plays so he's a lot harder to deal with. It also has to do with the fact that he's new so people might not have figured him out yet, especially if people haven't seen him very often.

To be honest I've played over 20 games so far against him and with mostly platinum players playing him and I've yet to lose a game against a team that have Yasuo on their team lol :D
Characters that use different type of mana resource for their dps are always OP at the beginning, so it wasn't a surprise to be honest.

It seems he is but according to Riot, the pro players say that he's actually a bit weak. I think he's one of those champs like Darius that seem OP to teams that don't know how to properly deal with them, but you don't see them much in actual pro games.

Yeah I agree. There are quite a few champions that seem strong, but you will rarely see them in pro games. Good example is Akali. There are few champions who can obliterate others like her or at least that's how it seems in normal games, but in pro games with good coordination people can handle her easy and that's why you can rarely see it.
Still for Yasuo I think the passive was a bit too generous. Having 50% crit = 100% crits from a passive is a bit too much. Other then that I think it's a fun champion to play. Juking ranged with his wall seems like fun thing to do :D

Exactly, the pro players know how to counter this champions quite easily, while the common player does not. That's what makes them "pros". haha

I honestly don't think he's that good at all. He's just another character who you avoid feeding early (which is easy because his early game is kinda bad) and then he becomes useless late. He has no escape, and he's a mid champion that is countered by most typical mid champions.

Yasuo is at a subpar state at the moment, especially in higher levels of play. His kit and overall design seems to be fine, it's just his base stats that probably need a bit of buffing.

Mid lane is the place that utilizes Yasuo's kit the most, however even then it's pretty hard to sustain yourself against today's regular casters. Just a few minor tweaks and I feel like he'll be in a mighty fine position.

I know some people like Yasuo in the jungle, but Yasuo's ganks are not nearly as fluid as other junglers'. He doesn't have any immediate CC. He has to wait until he hits 2 of his q's to actually get his tornado up, and only then can he use his ult, which really sets him back in comparison to other junglers.

Overall, not OP at all, just a bit UP.

He doesn't have CC straight from the start, but he have as many charges as there are enemies making it almost impossible to escape from him when you add the ridiculous damage he have early game I'd say he is one of the best junglers for normal games.
Of course in high level ranked games the champion will be rubbish for no other reason other than the fact that he is really easy to kill. Generally people pick tanky junglers like Lee Sin, Olaf and that's the only reason why Yasuo isn't viable. He is just too squishy.
Btw laning with Yasuo is really bad. In mid he gets obliterated obviously and at top depending on the champ he is against he might dominate to level 6 and after that lose like if he is vs Mundo or in a worst case where he is vs Riven he will start lossing straight from the start.

Generally the champion is rather weak. He is fun to play because of his mechanics, but within 1-2 more months you will barely see him picked even in normal games. People will get bored from him.

He's not going to be played in LCS and major competitions for the fact that he is really squishy through the course of the game. In my opinion he seems like a completely nullified version of Riven mid. He gets wrecked by assassins like LeBlanc who can destroy his earlygame farming potential which makes him pretty useless later on in the game.

It's just like Lucian or Jinx, he is going to be played a TON for a few more weeks then hardly picked. Another example of this would be Quinn and Valor.

Jinx and Lucian are both played heaps though, especially in the higher ranks. Isn't Jinx recognized as the best ADC in the game right now?

He is up there but not quite OP in my opinion. If you can stop him from farming early, which is pretty easy from what I've seen mid, then he's in big trouble. He doesn't snowball as hard as say for instance Kass or Riven off a kill, so even if you were to get ganked you could come back to lane and still effectively zone him(mid). I'll usually try to grab Annie, Riven, Syndra against a mid Yasuo.

Jinx and Lucian are the 2 most played + Caitlyn ranged adc. Both are pretty ridiculous especially in the hands of good players.

When he first came out I did not think he was that good. Actually I though he did no damage. I am not sure if it was the people playing him but now I think he is more powerful. I would not say he is overpowered like Nasus. :D I think if you play against a good player he can punish you.

He is a very strong pick and if you practice him enough, he can be OP but he requires a lot of mastery. I think you'd have to play him for at least 30+ hours to be a god at him because he is fairly hard to play.

After the recent patch he's actually really strong. He's seeing a lot of bans in EU LCS right now and I think it's justified. His burst is very very high, along with the great mobility he has I think he's going to be a regular ban in season 4.
