You like to play in group or in guild?

I like guild because if you join a guild, you're a member of that guild regardless of whether you're currently logged in to the game.

I love being part of a guild. The guild I'm in consists of some people I know in real life and some people who I ave met through the game. It's great fun doing quests together, and it allows you to level faster as a team.

I'm not that bothered about guilds really. Me and my friend who play the game usually go on at a set time every day and we just go in a group together and complete some quests. I don't usually talk to people I don't know in real life on it.

The good thing about meeting people through the game and being in a guild with them is that a lot of them are really experienced and might be better at the game than the people you know in real life so you'll be able to level faster with them.

I don't really like either yet. For now, I'm just enjoying the game while soloing it. However, I'll probably join a guild later on in the game.

I'm not sold on guilds. I'm in one, but I don't really pay attention to it. I feel that's how a decent number of players are, really.

I'm generally in guilds just to have something to chuckle at while playing the game. Sometimes there's interesting spots that open and I tend to jump in just for kicks. Right now I'm playing with a new guild so I'm just observing for now. I still play with my old guildmates more than my new ones. It's a shame that there aren't enough of the old ones to form a cohesive enough group to do things in game.

I like playing in a guild, and especially doing small group stuff with guildmates because you know what to expect from them. I have no problem with bad players or players who don“t powergame their characters, but it is nice to know that before you jump into a group.

I enjoy being part of a guild where you can count on people with similar interests to log on and do things together whether it be raiding or running dungeons or doing transmog runs.

I prefer guild play. Good character progress cannot be done solo and knowing that I will not have my char progressed on the level I'd like to makes me want to play less and have less interest in the game.

Isn't a group and a guild the same thing?

I help established a guild in the server Nordrassil on the Horde side with a group of friends. The guild was small and we used to do dungeon runs and random raids. Prior to that, I tried being in a large social guild, but that didn't work for me. Too much chatter. I also tried a smaller family-run social guild that did PvP. That was very fun and much better than anything I had ever been in.

So in the end, groups and guilds all depends on the dynamics. Neither are by itself any better or worst.

Of course I like to play in group. I guess this is the strong aspects that distinguish a MMO from any other game.. cooperations and socializing.

I usually go solo while questing, and as for dungeons and raids, I usually go with the pick-up groups. However, I find that I am always in need of a guild: a social need. I really love just chatting with people while grinding. Sure, it's nice running the occasional dungeon with a few guildmates, but I seem to be more of a lone wolf (apart from the chat box).

The only time I'm ever really by myself in this game is when I'm either grinding or fishing. Pretty much anything else I'm in some group.

Preferably, both! My friends and I are currently all in the same raiding guild, which makes the game more fun to play. I probably wouldn't have a subscription if I didn't have people to play with. It's been a blast progressing through content with my RL friends in the group.

The only time I play by myself is leveling, where I'm just concerned with speed of getting quests done.

I love being part of a guild, if it is an active guild. Recently my guild has gone fairly low on being active. A lot of the players are playing on other servers or have just lost interest in the game. I love a good social guild where even if you are not doing something with a group at the time, there is always conversation going on. I think that social aspect of the game is what really draws me to it, as I find myself playing a little less without it.

I also like guilds because there is always something to do if it is an active one. You can usually always find someone to run around and achievement hunt with, or run some dungeons. Even if it's not a raiding guild, and you feel like raiding, you can use the Raid Finder tool as a group. I find it more enjoyable to have people I know when I am exploring something new.

Guild. You develop relationships with those people. You have more fun with them because you can relate. You have people to count on when things get out of hand.

I really like being in a guild. Not only you can do a lot of fun things together like raids or looting dungeons but you can also form some good relationships if you're willing to do that.

I would say that I prefer to play in a guild, because you have the ultimate goal of becoming the best guild in the game. Playing in a guild, you get more experience and loot better stuff. Most of all, it's fun playing with people with the same goal in mind.
