I have played on a community server for years that has since kind of died out. But, my favorite memories of that community are of all the friends i made, the Friday nights where we didn't make a dang thing but we had fun, and our competitions. So, what are your favorite Minecraft multiplayer memories.

My favourite multiplayer Minecraft memories come from when my friends used to play together on our own private servers. Because we knew each other personally there was an extra level of mischief and fun that could be brought into it. We'd make towns and one time we were making places from Middle Earth together. Often we'd try to mess up each others plans creating lots of fun and humour.

One specific example I can think of was when we were making a city in the sky. One person made a level below every single building and filled it with tnt (back when a single punch would set them off). This frustrated everyone quite a lot, but we all decided we'd just leave it and try to carry on without setting off the tnt. A few days later we're all merrily going about our fun when the server starts to lag. Our city in the sky was being destroyed before our eyes!

This is going to sound somewhat dark, but my favorite memory of Minecraft was when I created a sky-city. It turned out that the sky-city was situated over the ocean above "Sunset Row" which soon became incredibly ugly because the sky city blocked out the sun. I took great joy in knowing that my industrious nature had slaughtered another creation without being true griefing. That's really bad. Nobody should learn from my example.

Favorite memories would be my massive MC builds: floating islands, hill top castles with winding roads surrounded by a forest and moat.

My reasoning for making the floating island city was primarily because I wanted to create a Dalaran like city and secondly to avoid griefers. It worked against griefers since only donators could get /jump and /mc (magic carpet).

I don't really have a specific favorite memory. It's just fun building things together with friends or strangers. It really amazes me how inspiration comes from just messing around. One minute you're chopping down trees, and the next you're building a function raft. Just cool things like that really make the game for me.

I only got on a server once, so I got only one memory, but what happened was that I robbed some stash and then the guy chased me and it was so fun because at the end he was truly mad as I stole nearly all of his stuff.

My favorite memories are definitely from the first server I ever went on. I had only played single player up until then and decided to see what multi was like. I remember the cool friends I made there, the awesome jungle home we built together, knowing how to get from spawn to all the different houses and bases people had built. It was the strongest sense of community that I have ever encountered on a server. I'm probably looking at it with nostalgia goggles but it was pretty great and I miss it.

Hahahaha. Definitely not the way to endear yourself to the Minecraft community, but I can understand how enticing it is. Those diamonds are so shiny! Seriously though, that is awesome and definitely memorable.

I remember when a group of my friends went onto a server and found portal guns. That was not a good idea. we managed to destroy a server so hard. We'd ask for a TP to a guy to get started and then found everybody. My god it worked so well. Destroying everything in range, wrecking everything we seen. Killing the spawn was the best bit.

Ahh there are so many! Some almost painful to remember! Good times.. chilling around doing random things! Playing games and chatting. Minecraft felt less like a game and more of a community.

Actually, I just play multi-player to kill other people lol. I'm a pvp guy who's just online to get the sh*t out of other people. So all of my memories contain crazy people who read insulting me in the chat lol. I've got some good memories, too though. Made some friends on some servers.

See, I'm with Clanky, I can't see any point as to why anybody would like co-op creative. It seems like it would only annoy me when i'm trying to build something and there is somebody trying to help. Unless they throw materials and just leave me but that's it. When it comes to killing people and destroying things. I like it, I get more out of surrounding a house in tnt to just blow it at a moments notice.

The best online moment I've had is definitely on Hunger Games servers, it's so fun to be wondering about then managing to find a stash box, I rarely use the cornucopia I just run into the cities, the rush from finding one of the few bows and arrows is so good, gives a great advantage.

I don't really have any memories on servers. I don't on the too often. I would like to start regularly playing on a server, would you recommend any?

All the times when I fell while playing Skybattles. It was hilarious trying to figure out what to do when you join the first time not knowing anything about it.

My fondest memories are of the nights where me and my friends were not on skype, we just typed to eachother, and it was just relaxing building grand castles while listening to relaxing music. I would love to be a part of another minecraft server, but none of my friends play it anymore.

My favourite memory of Minecraft was, when in multiplayer, me and my five friends, have built a house together. But after some days, some flying hacker with a lava bucket ruined our house.
So we decided to play on LAN after that.

This one time I was playing on a Life server. I met a guy while out mining for iron and other materials. We talked for a bit and decided to team up to build the biggest and tallest sky scraper in town. It took us an entire night of slaving away in the mines but we succeeded. We built the Empire State Building of our town (in terms of height).

Funny thing is I never saw that guy after that night. I only knew him for one night. That's the beauty of online games. You meet people that are fun to play with, but you never know when you're going to lose contact. Much like life really.

Taking revenge on asshats that mess up my stuff. Whining to the admin like a little bitch doesn't cut it for me. I like to make my plans elaborate when I go and mess up someone's shit that did me wrong.
