    If you play with mods, what are your favorites? I personally only play with the Feed The Beast Unleashed modpack at the moment, so I won't list all these mods as they are too many. :p My favorite single mod was the Aether, but I think it's discontinued.

    Too Much TnT! Except, unlike the name implies, there is no such thing as too much TnT. I play with my kid and he cracks up at it every time.

    I also play with Feed the Beast Unleashed. I think it not only adds more stuff, but also adds realism. My favorite mod in it would probably be the IndustrialCraft2 because of the machines like solar panels, etc.

    I have tried feed the beast and I don't really like! Personally I prefer Hexxit because it's more fun especially playing with friends

    You must try these right now im playing 1.2.5 and im using BuildCraft (Awesome), ThaumCraft (Amazing), BattleGear is nice too, and Jammy's Furniture. I also want Industrial Craft 2 and Redpower, though they havent updated yet.

    My favorite mod is the shield mod. I believe it adds a lot of depth to the combat in Minecraft, which is really cool. Without shields, it's just a clickspamming and jumping type deal, but with shields you have to block and jab with precision and good timing.

    I don't use modpacks anymore, but when I did, I played with Feed The Beast. I really liked the jetpacks and all the different machines used to automate processes. Some of them were a bit overpowered though. I liked most of the FTB modpacks, but not all. I never tried ThaumCraft. I've seen let's plays where people use it, but I never really understood the appeal.

    I don't play with mods too often, but I remember using the Timber mod, which only really speeds up the process of cutting trees. I think it makes life in Minecraft consideraby easier. :D
    There's also Lucky Block, that me and my friends played a bit with. It was very fun! You never know what you will get. It recently updated into Lucky Block Blue, I will probably check it out!

    I love Tekkit mod and also MoCreatures mod they're the best. There aremany mods that I like but these 2 is the best for me.

    My favorite old mod that I don't think is even compatible with the nowdays versons of minecraft, don't know thought because I haven't tried modding it in a while, but my favorite mod was the 256 bit HD mod pack, I don't remember the exact name of it but it was just awesome and a change from the regular java graphics. Same engine but many times improved. Sure you needed a better pc to run it but I managed that and it was awesome.

    My favorite mod has to be Tekkit, there is just no other mods that changes the base game quite so much by adding so much new stuff.
    There are other that change the game completely of course, but this really improves the base game.

    I don't really play a lot of mods, but I really like the Hexxit modpack. It's more adventure than technology, it's fun.

    I used to use Feed The Beast, and it was great, but I'm not big on modpacks in general. I try to avoid them unless I have a glaring need for them.
