Your favorite weapon on Minecraft?

I usually just use a sword. I don't like having limited ammo when using a bow.

 

Yeah I totally agree with you.
My favorite sword to have is iron too.

 

Sword. I love close quarters, and I love making use of terrain for it especially. But I use a bow, occasionally.

 

The sword. Like they said above you don't have to worry about a sword running out of ammo on you in the middle of a fight. Having to switch weapons or reload can get you killed pretty quick sometimes.

 

Bow, I like being able to kill people from a distance..

 

Bowing definitely. I love seeings on fire because of my flame bow.

 

I like using swords and TNT. You have to be pretty clever to walk up to someone and manage to blow them up. Or you have to lead them really well. Either way, you'll always find me with a diamond sword and some TNT.

 

Bows. Having an enchanted flame bow with infinite ammo is amazing against mobs. You can pretty much kill hundreds alone if you don't already get bored of it. An enchanted fire aspect sword is great as well but bows are effective against lower tiered armor in my opinion. TNT is a decent weapon sometimes but I prefer using it to trap people.

 

I personally prefer the sword, just because I'm not that good of a shot with a bow or anything like that. The only thing that sucks about it is when you get a knock-back enchant and you have to fight a skeleton.. cringe.

 

I love using the bow to kill those nasty critters. No need to even get close, just give them a few headshots and be done with it. Especially satisfying if you fight skeletons or endermen . Although spiders can be a pain under certain circumstances...

 

I've always preferred using a sword so I'll go with a sword. Actually, it is the most used weapon in the game for me besides the bow. The swords unlimited use is handy for almost every situation.

 

My favourite weapon has to be the bow. I don't like close-range combat, because I'm really bad at it. I enjoy using with my bow because you have to practice hitting the target. The satisfaction you get when you hit a player or a mob from a really long distance is the best feeling in the world.

 

Bows are neat but swords are the bread and butter of Minecraft.

 

Bow I can shoot really good with it I am awsome with it. I just wish there were poison ones that would be great

 

It's got to be the sword but I do like the bow also. I don't know, I just love that blocky sword for some reason and not even the beefed up diamond sword, I mean the wimpy cobblestone sword. It has a certain appeal to it, the way it breaks easily. I don't know maybe I'm a knight in past life and seeing that blocky Minecraft sword somehow reminds me of my glory past life days.

 

I am more of a up close and personal kind of guy, so I would take the sword. Spartans didn't charge into battle with a bow, they used melee weapons. Bow is only fun if you are on a server with multiple people and you are in a guard tower bored or something.

 

It depends on the situation. I could have a bow and arrow if I were lucky enough for a skeleton spawner. But, if there is no skeleton spawner then I am all in with the sword. A simple stone sword is my best friend. It isn't a sword its a club wanting to be a sword.

 

It mostly depends, but usually I tend to use just a sword. It's the most effective weapon in my opinion. Minecraft would never be the same without swords

 

Depends? I prefer using the bow, but that isn't always going to cut it and it doesn't help at all if the mob is getting too close. I do enough caving that hunting down a skeleton spawner is generally one of my top priorities, so I'm never low on arrows excepting the beginning of the world when I'm still getting to it. Also, TNT is an excellent weapon when caving should you want to take out a group of Cave Spiders and not care about the spawner. I certainly never care about Cave Spider spawners, so I always have at least a few with me.
