Zone instancing help

Hey guys,

So I'm in the beta weekend with my brother and we both made Norn. We're in the starting area but we can't find each other. There appears to be instancing for each area. Does anyone know how we would switch instances to play with each other?

Are you both in the same world?

If you are, I know that that you have the normal instance, and then what seems to be an overflow instance so to speak (I think), it might be something to do with that. If this is the case, if you were both to log out and then log back in, you hopefully should log back into the same instanced area. If that isn't it then I have no idea, sorry.
