$0 on the game?

Well, it is hard to say what will happen to me. I am a newbie here. I play LoL almost 4 months and I didn't spend money on this game. Do I need to do so?

 

Absolutely not. I've been playing for years and I haven't spent a single cent of (my own) money. I've gotten a few skins from birthday and Christmas presents, but nothing else. I saved IP on runes and rune pages by waiting for sales, and I started mastering the cheap and basic champs first before working my way up to the 6300s.

 

I've spent about $0 dollars on the game but I still have all those shiny skins . How I not buy them? I am still in school and not working and my parents won't fund my gaming lol

 

I haven't spent anything on the game because I don't like skins to begin with and I just play free characters to learn new ones all the time. I'm more of a casual though so that's a big part of why I can get by without spending, I suppose.

 

I spent the first 3-4 years without buying anything. I was a broke college kid. It was easy to just not spend the money. There was no way I could justify spending the $5 for a nice skin. Now that I have a steady source of income I do occasionally spend money on the game. I think it is only fair that I spend some since Riot provided me with hours and hours of free entertainment. Normally my friends and I will all put in $10-$15 and then just send each other mystery skins. It is more fun that way because you don't know what you will get!
