Adding sharks to minecraft!?

Haha I'm trying to think in terms of what would be good for a harder survival mode, some sort of increased difficulty, and so water creepers would be a prerequisite I think

 

Definitely. Perhaps not creepers, but another water mob. Come to think of it, I would like sharks implemented. They would make the game even more thrilling, so why not. Being safe can quickly become boring, right?

 

That would be EPIC. I really hope they do at some point. I would be going shark fishing daily. It would be cool if they were rare and dropped rare items when you finally killed one. Brilliant idea for the game. Would love to see it.

 

Sharks would be super creepy! Oceans are scary enough.

 

Very true, it refreshes the adventure that is Minecraft. However there are plenty of mobs that offer just as much of a challenge on land if you just choose not to go into the water

 

I don't know how I feel about sharks being added to Minecraft.. I think it would be cool but I'd be terrified to go into the water. I would love to see some sea creatures in future updates, though, because I do think the ocean lacks in that a little bit.. Or maybe some ore that's only found in deep waters.

 

Okay, you could just tell yourself that you won't run away in the face of true danger. But when in the situation, you don't really think and just flee away. So it's good not to have anywhere safe to go. So you are forced to fight the monsters.

 

I personally don't really think sharks are necessary simply because mods already add a ton of dangerous creatures already. Although a vanilla player would defintely have more trouble traversing across the seas if sharks were a problem, that could post an interesting element to the game. I think sharks would be weird though, because we'd need more items in game with the creation of sharks.

 

Yeah that would be great. I would love to hunt those sharks and possibly you can make something off of it, like a shark armor or something. Maybe they can add something like shark hunting like in Assassin's Creed IV where you get in a boat and just hunt sharks.

 

Yeah that would be awesome! I would want to be able to hunt sharks while on a boat and possible the sharks hunting me while on a boat. They should also include whales and all other manner of sea creatures.

 

It's okay to add shark but there are mods that has sharks. For people who doesn't mod their minecraft much maybe it's an ok.

 

They need to do this because I know a lot of you noobs are trying to go into the water for safety at night, I think there should be no where safe to run from the nightmares! Face them like a true Warrior. Sharks would be awesome, as long as they are able to destroy boats.

 

Mods have already done it, so I think it's time for Mojang to just add a modding API already, since then it's equivalent to adding thousands of updates at once. They should make a single, stable version for modding, and that would be the Golden Age of Minecraft.

 

I think it would be a cool idea, but it would seem like all the developments Mojang is making to Minecraft. They aren't necessary, they're just adding them to keep interest in the game. I feel like this would just weigh the game down more.
