    To be fair, I think that THQ were trying to build them up together, and slowly have them become closer. It was just a bit rushed, and perhaps they had to cut some content.

    One funny thing, once you wake up... the doctor comes to check Anna. And you have to leave her alone with the doctor, she surely didn't get enough.

    If I also remember right, the doctor tells you that you should leave... but Anna should stay with him.

    first minute of meeting her I was 'one more 'rabbit' and I'll throw you to the nosies'!!!

    but I agree, we should have been given the chance of saying 'no'. I think it was more a case of 'Artyom I'm sooo lonely and horny, and you are the best option around' than 'oh Artyom, I'm sooo in love with you I can't wait a minute more'.

    If the same situation happened in a real-life setting, I'd never do it. I'd get pissed.
    If I were in the metro, yes, I would. But I would not have been able to make my way through reds, nazis and mutants like Artyom did. What I'm saying is that Artyom is used to the Metro-life, and so he wouldn't fall for someone like Anna; he'd be used to not getting laid once a week.

    Actually (METRO 2034 THE BOOK, SPOILERS)
    Artyom gets a wife and kids. So him falling in love with Anna is, to me anyway, very much like Artyom. That it'd be with Anna? Nope.

    They both taught they were sick, after being exposed to virus in that burning station, so Artyom was like "ahh what the hell, gonna die anyway, so hop on babe"

    For the 50th time, more than one person is called Artyom or Artem or whatever in Russia. In fact, 0.35% of all Russian men are called Artem. Besides, Dmitry himself has said that the Artyom mentioned in Metro 2034 is not the Artyom we know from 2033. :p

    actually, it is miller that says artyom got married while talking to hunter and homeros in the at the jailcell in Polis, therefore THAT artyom ought to be the 2033 artyom and not the guy in the infected station.

    I always consider the books to be the main canon, and games just a alternate, slightly different version.
    I'll wait and see what will Metro 2035 is going to tell.
    Never the less I loved Anna.. And she's also my type too - blue eyed brunette. :eek:

    *sigh* Can't blame a man for being a man I guess...
