Anybody else just like turn on creative mode and build stuff?

Building skyscrapers is sometimes fun in survival mode if you build railways to stockpile materials in mines as it gives you a better sense of accomplishment, however it's always nice to see what you can come up with using creative mode only.

To be honest, Most of my games begin in creative mode, Looking at the land, mapping it out, then building what i NEED and filling chests up. It comes in handy, i come across a ton of pure water worlds, So when you spawn on a tiny island with 1 tree and no cows or chickens or pigs anywhere in site... Creative mode is your best friend.

I actually love doing that when I feel a bit creative. Other times, I just go with my friends and make a small house in the woods to survive.

I mostly play in Creative mode. Pretty much all the time actually. I find survival mode gets a bit boring for me, also I mainly use Minecraft to relax, so getting to just build awesome structures while listening to relaxing music is all I do. I really enjoy Creative mode, I like being able to fly around, I love that blocks are unlimited and I love that I can easily destroy things when I go wrong.

I play more creative mode than survival mode. I find survival mode boring for me.
I played creative mode also in Minecraft classic.

That tends to draw many people into the game, no pun intended but being crafty and wanting to engineer stuff is something both my friends and myself love to do. Games that allow this (or a variation of it) tend to do better since it is doing something the gamers actually don't mind doing in the first place.

No, I try to actually stay away from creative mode as it just gets boring. It's more fun in survival where you have to work hard to get all the things you need so that you can eventually build your awesome house. It's especially fun when you are building with your friends on a server.

Actually, no, I don't really do this much.

    BUT

I do love watching videos of when OTHER people have done this. I think people can be pretty amazing with their creations and I love watching what they've created in creative mode.

I just can't imagine personally wasting that much time....

Same here, I'm just amazed how much time can soem people spend in creative mode, for example building a full-sized replica of Denmark. that much time and work for a Minecraft country, really?

Survival can be fun sometimes, but I prefer creative myself. I'd rather just be able to sit there and build what I want and not have to worry about spiders or creepers. Nothing worse than having built something epic to have it explode!

Sometimes fighting for your life gets boring. I just want to relax and play with lego, but I hate cleaning up and lego is expensive. So I fire up creative mode instead!

Yea. Creative mode is my favorite part of the game. Letting players conceptualize stuff before actually going out and doing it is great and I love it.

I actually prefer survival because I lack creativity. Also, I feel like I am cheating for some reason, or don't deserve building in creative mode because I have not worked to get the materials. I am all for realism and challenge, and survival gives me that.

When I',m just building for fun I definitely prefer creative mode. Infinite items and the ability to fly make things so much easier. Plus mistakes are easier to fix.

Yes I love just going out and creating. Lately I've been working on building things from TV and movies. I've got a Dalek and TARDIS from Doctor Who completed. It takes some time but it sure is satisfying when it's done.:)

I agree with wvboarder. Although, when I do play creative mode it's when I'm looking for leisurely activity. If i'm in a competitive or gaming mode, I will usually go to survival mode or just play on a server. Although, I will rarely play on creative. I am not saying that it isn't a great game mode, though! I just prefer more of a challenge.

That's what really drew me into Minecraft. The endless possibilities and how no one can stop you for doing what you're doing. Creative mode really does make the possibilities even more endless seeing as you have an unlimited amount of everything. I do love survival mode though, I like playing with my friends and seeing them get scared as the nightime passes us by. Showing them that I can be courageous and such.
Even with that, to answer your question, yes I do just turn on creative a build stuff, I'm working on a beach house right now.
