    isn't it technically impossible to be atheist since that means you don't believe in anything, which in itself is a belief of sort?

    This graph is misleading.
    
Agnostic( Atheism) claims that there is no proof neither in favour nor against God's existance, and therefore there is no possible way for Man to have an answer to the question "Is there a God".

						As nearly as I can tell all religion is based on faith, from atheism to Islam.  No matter what you are you have to chose what you want to believe at some point.
