    "It's all about respect, especially if they'd riddle me dead with holes if I tried anything!" I lean on Val's shoulder while putting the rusty Tokarev in its Kriza holster. Pete sits quietly and drinks his tea/homebrew mix trying to ignore what's happening.

    I smile and kiss the top of his head."Oh?Smart man and sorry if my jackets cold.....we have been in the tunnels and all."I reach a arm up and set it across his shoulders."You with that big bitch of a rifle and me with my Ak...would be almost unstopable...I think...what do you think?"I reach up with my other hand and pull off the bandana then undo the cloth holding my hair in the pony tail letting it fall to the middle of my back.

    "We'll be rolling in bullets too once we make it back from the park" I put my arm around her and sip my tea. I kick my bag toward the middle of the track. Pete looks up at the thud and then back into his tea. Kissing val's cheek, I lean back against the curved wall of the tunnel and look up at the black abyss of the ceiling. "You know, I'm glad those mercs never turned up!" I say smiling.

    "Why is that?"I make a surpised noise and my face turns slightly pink at the sudden kiss to the cheek but I try to hide it as I sip the tea with my free hand leaning on his shoulder inturn."Is it because of me?"I ask playfully.

    I put my helmet on her head, look at her and smile "Just might be" I look up and down the tunnel, at Pete then at her. "We should move on soon... Make headway to Oktyabrskaya. That railcar is waiting for us" I kiss her on the cheek, stand up and then hold val's hand to help her up.

    I hand Pete, who is traveling light the action and ammo of my PTRD before sliding the barrel through the straps on my backpack. I sling the pipe carbine on my chest and nudge val as we walk away from the fire and deeper into the tunnel toward Oktyabrskaya.

    I switch my Ak to hanging off my chest as I follow ready for anything if the boys looked they could see I have it so its ready to shoot left handed and the tt-33 is holstered for left hand use in a across the body holster as I walk on through the tunnel beside Stephan.

    Oktyabrskaya was just a short stop, the Hansa police milled about and huge marble walls stained with soot were lined with people doing as they do. Looking at Val and Pete I walk up to a high ranking Hansa guard, pass him a piece of map and shake his hand. He leads us to an armored railcar at the turn onto the line that leads first to Shabolovskaya and then several other unexplored stations leading to the park. The railcar was armored with street signs and scrap steel, a rack for bags, the engine and 2 long and reasonably wide benches took up most of the cart. The front of the cart reasonably is the most armored with sandbags which increased protection at the cost of a lot of room and weight. "This is it. This clunker should take us to the end of the line and back!" I say, playfully punching Val on the arm. "Pete, you can drive, Val is gonna watch the front and I'll make sure the other directions are covered"

    'What the fuck?' Pete thought. If I knew it was going to be like this....Gezze. The woman has no respect for herself, calling herself the Bitch. One of these days, she's going to wish that she never gave, herself, that title because she'll run into someone who will actually treat her like one.' Pete's head hung low as he sipped his tea. He continued facing the ground, but looked up with his eyes to watch the couple 'Blehhh', Pete thought.

    Pete finished what remained of the tea and fumbled the empty cup in his hands. His hands were stiff and cold, but, keeping near the fire helped loosen them up. After Stepan's and Valentina's little faze, Stepan went through with what his plans were. "A caravan car, eh?" Pete asked rhetorically. "You'll see. I'm good at this." Pete stoop up and chucked his empty tea cup, at Stepan, after being handed some of the equipment. "Hey, can I ride shotgun once we get to the cart?" Pete said in a humors tone. With that said, Pete adjusted his black beanie, over his ears, and walked slightly ahead of the two with what gear he was given.

    "Pete, if you can make this thing take off we can blow through Shabolovskaya and not have to deal with the gangsters who control the station. It'd make life easier for all of us" I sit against the back edge of the cart and load a single hand loaded steel case round 7.62mm into my pipe rifle.

    I was typing my previous post at the same time you had posted your previous post. We're a little off, but not much.

    "I said I guarded caravans, not drove them!" Pete climbed onto the cart with assistance from a ladder that hung off the side. Once at the control panel, Pete let his gear drop and began tinkering with the controls. "Well I know this one's the break." Pete released the yellow handle and continued to stare and the controls. "Why isn't this moving.....Oh, right. The ignition." Turning a red key started the vehicle up; but, having released the break first instead of having it done last, the cart bucked like a spooked lurker. "Hahaha. Holy moley. This things got kick!" The trio were now off to their destination.

    Nah, Its cool. Pete is a good character for this too!

    I thought to myself that maybe letting Pete drive was a bad idea but I kept on my watch looking about the walls as we rumbled down the track. I lean my head against the side of the cart, letting my helmet cussion my head so I can slack on my watch. "Pete! Don't stop for anything until we get to the Shabolovskaya airlock. I'll bribe the criminals into letting us through" I look at Val then put my head back against the metal armor and watch the ceiling of the tunnel blur as we move foreward

    I look at her for a second before putting my head on her shoulder and passing out mumbling something that can be recognized along the lines of "Wake me at Shabolovskaya... The tunnel is safe until there..."

    Shabolovskaya's Airlock guard took only 6 bullets and a bottle of mushroom vodka to open the massive steel gate to the unknown. Before we drove through the gate he said "Be careful! We've not sent any scouts that far!" As the cart drove into the darkness which was only pierced by the lamps on the cart and by the light of the station behind us, I felt mild unease about the tunnels ahead.

    Leninskiy Prospekt passed bye with a breeze but as we left the station a mild fog wrapped the wheels of our cart. the light seemed to barely cut through it. The air curled in front of the cart as we sped toward what could possibly be an anomaly. I pull val into the cart by the back of her coat and then make sure Pete is in the cart. The anomaly shocks the cart which acts as a Faraday cage. the lantern explodes as do several rounds of ammo stored among the gear handing on the outside of the cart. "Bljad!" I yell as I jump my seat.
