    I dont think this RP is set in 2032. If it was, than according to our canon, Artyom and the rangers visited D-6 after it was taking over by the Nazi and halfway blewn up by us. Id think the RP woulid be set in 2034, as that is the year Metro Last Light is set.

    The Rangers take control of it and use it as a base in 2034.

    2034 is a book which doesn't involve the canon of the game though. Which pretty much means that Lurkers has got it right.

    The problem with that is that the nazis use d-6 as a base in last light.
    AND MAKE A VIRUS. THAT ARTYOM IS PROBABLY GONNA STOP.

    Well, what established the year our roleplay was set for me was a post by someone (I forget who) that had us unknowingly walking along side Knan and Artyom in the Reich station which means it's set in 2034 just like the game...

    I find it saying that the Reds (The Communists) found a bio-weapon in D-6. Nothing about Nazis and nothing about settling down in D-6. Where did you read about that, Stalker?

    Also, if what I said above is correct, it could secretly have been our ranger-squad who actually placed the bio-weapon (the toxin) in the Reds' hands, because that's actually what we did. Right?

    Hmm. makes sense. But what about the problem of people saying it takes place before 2033? Though lets keep this open for now till last light, so we don't end up saying something about the date that ruins last lights continuity?

    I haven't read 2034 but from what I can tell they don't contradict each other that much. IMO the games and the books occupy the same universe, there are some parts in the book that don't happen in the game but the books take canon over the games. The story of Artyom is completely left open after Metro 2033 allowing Metro Last Light to be allowed as canon.
