yes I r back, was afk. but yes, it's a freighter, has two turrets and a HUGE cargo hold! Star Citizen is releasing in a very unique way. The first part, the hangar module is already out. That is just looking at and going inside your ships. After that in december will be the dog fighting module. In that we will test the dog fighting mechanics of the game and that, while actually FORMING the dog fighting's advanced features BASED on our feedback. Than it's planetside, or visiting different planets. Than a module for the single player campaign. And finally, the full game. Basically, the idea is to make the game WITH us fans, and help our feedback shape it before the game is out.

SC is a crowdfunded game, pledges are basically pre ordering the game with extras. $35 for the base game and alpha + beta. and then different things. the base for the big box one being $125 *$140 for brand new backers*, or for the deluxe big box $250 *275 to brand new ones*. You CAN buy ships and the like now, but it's completely optional, and when they introduced a credit shop, even let the fans VOTE On what to do with it.

And we've made advancements from here, to the point that there will be LORE of your char in the game if you do something like winning 5 races in a row at the monthly prix, or killing a vanduul general.
