    There's a lot of crap to be afraid of when you go into the ocean. Whenever I go, I usually end up watching a television show a day or two before we go to the ocean that has all these cases about shark attacks, poisonous snails, flesh eating bacteria, etc that have happened at sea. For the time I'm there, I'm usually paranoid for a while but it eventually dies out by the second day.

    I never were a good swimmer, didn't learn to swim until fifth grade. While everyone were enjoying the water in their colorful bikinis and shorts, I strolled around on land in my black clothes :lol:
    I've never ever been comfortable with water, and I don't really know why. When I was in Spain, about six years old, I managed to slip off some inflatable board and sink head-first in the pool, swallowed a lot of water until my mother pulled me out. Maybe that even has struck a root somewhere deep in my mind :p

    Other than that, my PC desk is now finally broken. After years of being tortured by my anger with knife-stabs, knife-slashes, rock-punches, fist-punches, head-butts etc. etc. etc. the main plate of the desk finally gave in while I was playing Arma3. It's hanging a bit down, above my keyboard. I just pushed it up again and let it stay there. It still has three large cracks, but it's holding together. Barely. Whenever I now raise my fist in anger, I stop in mid-air and think "..... maybe not." :lol:

    Dr.Nuclear or: How I Leaned to Stop Worrying and Love the Hobo.

    As hardly any of you may no, I think hobos are awesome. How I came to this, here it is. When I was about 13 years of age, my dad took me to the desert to go 4-wheeling out in the dunes with my grandfather and my grandfather's friends. While we were there, we came to a stop at this flat river type bed to take a break. I got off the cruiser with my dog and we went wandering about only to be called back in an hour or so. When we arrived back where everybody was, one of my grandfather's friends was making sandwiches for everyone. He passed a ready sandwich to my dad and then offered me one, only to me to respond "no thanks." I had no idea why I didn't want to eat it, perhaps I thought the way he prepared the food was weird. I walked around the area a bit and the old man kept insisting for me to take the sandwich "You don't want to eat? They're good." I kept denying it until he asked me in this manner; "Are you sure? It's a hobo sandwich." For some reason I can not explain, him asking me if I wanted a hobo sandwich made the difference in the world where I wanted the sandwich that I had denied a dozen times, to a point where I couldn't resist it. From that moment on, I became interested in the hobo way of life and everything hobos did. I thought, and I still do for some weird reason, they are cool. One of these days I'm planning on packing a backpack and hopping on a fright train for several days and see where it takes me.

    So, there's some insight into my weirdness life.

    Aren't hobos travelling workers? If my memory serves me right, tramps are travelling people that only work when forced to and bums are travelling people that refuse to work.

    I didn't think anyone here would no....you read through me. I like the name 'hobo' more than 'tramp' because tramp has another meaning that basically means whore. So I guess what I would actually be doing is tramping instead of hoboing because I wouldn't be dirt cheap and wouldn't have to be in search of a job in order to survive when I head out.

    I know that :p
    I've been trying to convince my best friend to go with me -which he says he would- but I don't think he'd really be up to it when the time comes.
