I never was an anime kind of guy either, even if I watched Dragon Ball and Pokemon back in time, but I never loved as much as I did the Batman: Animated series which I watched a year ago. Now I watching the X-Files which I watched with my mother back in time, but I remember that the first episode of the second season scared a sh*t out of me. After that I was scared when I heard the main theme.

I still find it somewhat hard to believe that Poland won against Germany yesterday in the qualifier football match. We do have a few great players (for instance Lewandowski, Szczęsny, and Piszczek), but the German team is waaaaay better and there's no doubt about that. After all, they won the last world cup.

Based on his comment it appears to have happened yesterday. After some intense detective work I have concluded with my hypothesis being correct. More explicitly:
    National Stadium Warsaw - Warsaw 11/10/2014 - 20:45CET (20:45 local time)
    From UEFA's official webpage.

    Well done...Well done.

And I'm part of the high class club now, here on this forum. I've now reached 1,000 as of a couple days ago.

Well, there's not much use for them in all honesty. Every once in a while someone may use them as currency at the Market, but it's rare these days. Back when someone much more capable (and more concerned about the forum's well-being) than HarleyQuinn owned this website, we could trade every set number of bullets we had for a money voucher code for PSN/Xbox Live (can't remember which one it was). He had to depart a long time ago unfortunately, and the website's current owner literally does nothing other than getting revenue and graciously logging onto the forum every month or so just to switch the adverts about. :eek:hwell:

Sad to read this, maybe somebody from the staff should contact Deep Silver for exclusive posters, mugs, t-shirts for bullets, or something like that.
I am sad that this game is not have proper merch.

Agreed, though there isn't any staff on this forum per se. People with moderator/admin responsibilities like Skaara, Aaron or Komo are not actually employed - they are doing it all in their free time. Thankfully, they also have contact with Deep Silver, so they can do things like the story and screenshot contests every now and then. However, I can't say Deep Silver has been very keen on Metro merchandise (at least thus far). :p

He was certainly much, much, much more involved with the forum than Harley. He was a fan of Metro and participated in the community when he could. Even later on when it was evident he was going to leave at some point, he still didn't forget about his responsibilities as an admin and tried to make things more interesting round here. As for Harley, I'm quite sure you can see how disappointing she has been as an admin. She doesn't take part at all and I'm not sure if she's ever even read a Metro book or played a Metro game. She's here just for the money.

Though in all honesty, more so than Luster or Harley, I think it's people like Skaara, Aaron and Komo who should be getting revenue from this website as they are the ones who most deserve it. I know that it may not seem so with Skaara's and Aaron's recent gradual decrease in activity due to things in real life, they have both been with the forum for ages now and kept it running when no one else could. Although Komo hasn't been here as long, he also did a crapload of work at the Metro wiki, at his YouTube channel and on the forum ever since he joined.

I hope I don't get banned for this:

Skaara, Aaron, and Komodo deserve some sort of pay for their dedication and hard work. This forum is the best damn one out there when it comes to presentation and its easy to use interface. Every other forum that I've visited and momentarily signed up for have been crap. Everything is everywhere and there is no sense of balance; and the mods are usually inactive.

I remember I read in an article once, it was about running a forum. Turns out, they are really cheap to run ($30-$50 a year). On the other hand, depending on what the forum is, they can be kinda expensive (I didn't read too much on that, but I just saw one forum for about $1200). Anyway, yeah, Harley doesn't do anything for the money. She just sits back and lets other people deal with it -that is, other people who should own it/get some sort of pay for it. I sometimes wonder how much money she'd be willing to accept to hand over the forum. And this forum is endorsed by Deep Silver. I wonder if endorsed by money...Or is it just friendly support?

And I remember the bullets for points. It was for both playstation and xbox points, no Windows points for PC. I think it was 100 points, of your choice, for every 1500 bullets.

It is reminds me my old project which was a Hungarian fansite of the Witcher series. It happend before the release of the second game I searched for an old mate from a dead witcher forum and we made it back, we had a place to write news, wiki kind of stuff and like so. It was endorsed by the Hungarian publisher (which was meant nothing), but they let it die eventually. The maker of the webpage is don't even cared the spambots and so on.

I am surprised by the fact that almost every game have its own forum, don't get me wrong I like to be here, just wierd.

Yeah, Harley seemingly only ever shows up these days to announce some kind of new endorsement. I get that these are important to keep the place running, but the rest of the guys have done way more in terms of fostering a community, Komo especially. I'm curious as to the actual costs of keeping this forum running.

Thank you all a lot, but let's not forget to give some creds to TheStalker as well. And yes, an internet cake would be great :D
(None of you shall ever be as bullet-rich as me!)

Nuclear, if you mean you wonder if Deep Silver is here because they're getting money for it from Harley's company, I highly doubt it; I have received no record of them ever having any contact with Harley what-so-ever at all. I believe Majnu(The old member with the avatar of a cartoon-elephant with a white background) was the one who contacted Deep Silver for us. (Or maybe it was Komo?) Either way, the reason they're still keeping in contact is because Maurice Tan (Deep Silver's International Community Manager) is still staying in contact with us after the meet and greet. He's the one who got us endorsed by Deep Silver. That also means us administrators are getting some classified info related to the Metro merchandise a few days/weeks before the actual official announcement of the news. It's nothing big, especially since we've signed a silence-treaty, but I just like to brag about the (not-so-important) privilege :D

Either way, we don't need to look for anyone to blame for all the adverts and other things; not even Harley. She's just doing her job, and so is the company that she's working for. She also seems like an alright person to deal with. I too am interested in how much money is invested and harvested in this forum, so I think I might actually E-mail Harley and ask her myself. Most likely she'd just say she doesn't know, or that she can't tell me because it's secret. But well, it's worth a try.

As for Luster, I do miss the good times when he was around and contributed, but personally, I don't feel like that makes up for how he left us in the dirt. Instead of giving up his control of the forum absolutely to Von Streff and me, who were currently the Super Moderators at that time, he decided to sell the forum for money to a company that earns money on putting up ads here and who won't give us 100% control of our own forum. It's sickening to think we're not actually the ones who own this forum, when we should be. True, the company wants to make money on this forum, and to do that they have to promote it and make it more active. That's very good of course, but I can't see them doing that at all to be honest. It's actually just us who's been promoting it. Sometimes I almost feel like -not- promoting it because for every visit, there's one more ammount of money in their pot. It's pretty demotivating.

But hey, if the forum isn't worth that much, they might even give it to us for free if we ask nicely, or at least perhaps sell it cheaply? Who knows. I'll try my luck.

    Son please.

You also got a copy of the game for free before launch that had a release date checker XD!!! Manju was the one who contacted DeepSilver BTW.

Well, I'd guess Luster preferred selling it to a company because:
    1. He'd get some money of it, covering the amount he spent on it over the years.

    2. He'd be sure that the new owners could afford to the run the forum and wouldn't leave, making us all have nothing to post on.
