I thought I had misspelled the name, or something, of the gun; so I went back to examine my spelling, several times, before I realized (after having looked up nicknames for the Mosin) that moist single nuggets and mossy nuggets was the same thing. You guys. :p
It appears that you may be the only one left who hasn't fallen for my trap. :spy:

3643. There, I've bumped the thread.

Remember the joke about accepting donations?

Yeah, well, it's not really a joke. I'm running into problems with my motherboard and RAM and they need to be replaced, but I can't exactly afford to do that right now. If you want to help me out, my paypal is still dj_xa4@mail.ru. If you do decide to send anything please use USD since conversion rates will take out a chunk otherwise.

I can't afford much more than one bottle of vodka a month (which is all you really need when you're a young adult trying to adjust to life in a Western capitalist society). So I can't really support you, but I recommend turning to your subscribers if you haven't already.

That's what I'm doing. All of the subscribers that actually care are from here. Out of twelve hundred about fifty watch my stuff and half a dozen actually say anything. The rest is just dead souls.

I'm on a tight budget as well -even more if I do decide to buy the chicken nugget. If I win the lottery though, or if I happen to be out and about when an airplane, carrying billions of dollars, suddenly explodes, I'll make sure to give you some :)

I went out into the desert, to go roam on some sand dunes, and decided to take some pictures for you folks. Though, before you see them, I got a quick story :D (and you may or may not believe me, since I don't have proof it actually happening, but I swear that it did happen). While we were there, we had hiked up a small mountain and then came back down to the vehicle when we were done. There were some people, firing guns, of to the far left of us -a common thing to see out there. Anyway, we were underneath a cedar tree and could hear the people firing the guns. Nothing bad. A few minutes after we had settled down, we heard a bullet zoom by. Still, nothing bad, as we thought it was just a stray bullet that had ricocheted from hitting a rock (so we let that one slide by). Seconds later, I heard another fly by and hit the sand close to the vehicle. What a coincidence. A few more seconds past and five more rounds were fired -all hitting the sand where we were standing. We yelled at the people shooting, I doubt they could hear us, but we left the location afterward and moved elsewhere. I was thinking: either they noticed that we had gone for a hike and decided to take some shots, at the vehicle, before we returned (without having realized that we were there), or they did know we were there and decided they wanted to try and kill us. I have no idea. :noidea:

Anyway, here are some of the scenic pictures I took (all of which I was still camera shy and didn't show up in any of them). On my monitor, the show up kind of dark (though, on the camera, they show up how they should); so, if the picture is too dark, you may want to adjust the brightness a bit.

That Mosin makes me moist indeed!
But wow, those are some really awesome pictures. And that landscape, I'd love to go there and check it out. Looks like it could be boring in the long run, but still pretty fascinating. We've got nothing like that here in Norway. Good thing you didn't get shot out there, they were probably trying to mess around with you :p

It can get pretty boring out there, especially if you're out alone -but it is a nice place to visit. What I usually do is just shoot at glass bottles with a bb/pellet gun and and then go look for bullet cartridges/random junk. If I'm with friends, we usually bury ourselves in the sand and see how long it takes for us to dig ourselves out. I don't know for how much longer the desert (where I was taking pictures) is going to be available to the public though. There were a lot of "No Trespassing" sings staked around the sand this last time -and they had never been there before. You could still pass by them, as there was no fence to obstruct the way, but I'm guessing it's the handy work from the cement company. If you look in the last picture I posted, there's a mountain that's quite bare and excavated (thanks to the cement company), on the top left corner. Ten years ago, that all use to be covered in sand. Anyway, I'm guessing the cement factory will be wanting to expand its resources in the next few years.

As for me, I actually want to go visit Norway after you displayed the pictures you took of your trip (was it Fjord?). It looks very beautiful over there.

edit:Oh no, the Mosin Nugget was sold. If I had only written to him, possibly a few days, before.....So sad :(

 But in all seriousness, too bad to hear about that Mosin. It was really nice. But oh well, you'll probably find another one ;)
Sounds like you're not much of a fan of that cement factory
The place I took those photos is a small area called Dørålseter, which is in a larger area called Rondane, which is in an even larger and more known area called Trondheim / Trondhjem. -If it's the mountain pictures you mean?

    :p
Yeah, there'll be a gun show, around mid-July, overhear where I live; so I'll go to that as I have read, on many forums, that Mosin are sold at them rather cheaply.
The cement factory people are big meanies.
Yeah, I was talking about the mountain pic ones. And when I go over there, I plan to drink as much of that crystal clear water, from the glacier, as I can. It looked so F'N' delicious

Nuclear, those are some nice pics. The US and Australia have some surprisingly awesome deserts. As for those people shooting at yous, I'm glad you got out of there in one piece without any (new) holes. :p I guess it's impossible to know what went through their head, but really you should be lookout for wackos in any remote place as they are bound to attract some people who want to do things they wouldn't get away with in a more densely populated area.

And guys you just reminded me of the last time I drunk water straight from the source. :( It was during a hiking trip in the Tatry in 2011, I believe... tasted amazing - especially on a hot day when walking in the mountains.

    Thanks :)
Yeah, I kept playing the scenario in my head, about the random shots, and kept wondering how it would've turned out if I went over there and confronted them. I'd probably make it home -if I would've made it back- with more holes than what I left with . I also played out the scenario where the people were like from The Hills Have Eyes, and they began to chase us; leading to me taking every single one of them out. I can dream, can't I? :p

Wow, Tatry looks nice too! And sorry for reminding you about delicious source water (dank it, even those words make my mouth water) :p. I could just imagine how amazing and crisp the water must have tasted.

I have encountered some strange smells out there. Some sour pungent smells that pass by quickly then disappear -with no sign of a source. Though, there are also some good smelling plant out there too, especially if you run them over during wet seasons.

:shocked:Horrific. Is, uh, the guy okay? Did he live?

    Hahaha :lol:2656
