Oh. Well, I assumed it was plastic. At least it's stored in a glass bottle though :D. And I guess it's popular with the teens because it looks like a high-class type of drink.....That, or it could also look as if they were drinking some type of vodka.

Stop it. Stop it right now :p

Oh, you're one of those types? :p
..Well, yeah, there is a chance that there might be a 99,9% lethal particle in that handfull of water you'd drink from a stream or river, but the chance of that particle actually being there is one to a trizillion or whatever.
It's more dangerous to drive a car :nono:

This reminds me - my paternal grandmother lives in a village that is not far from a town where a local mafia had its HQ. There were shootings there and other problems; I'm not sure how active they are nowadays but whenever I visit I still feel a bit uneasy in parts of that town.

As for drinking water from the source, from personal experience I can tell you that it is absolutely amazing and especially refreshing if you're hiking in the mountains. If you drink it straight from the source, at the point where it leaves the mountain, then it is very unlikely that you could ever have any health-related issues - it's probably better for you than bottled water or tap water depending on where you live (I personally don't ever drink tap water but all my British friends seem to; it's probably a cultural thing, though I know there are also differences in chlorine levels of tap water between countries). However, if you drink from a stream or anywhere after it has touched the ground, no matter how close to the source, then that's not very wise at all and could have all sorts of bacteria in it. :p

He's prepared for the apocalypse.
Oh, wow. interesting information. I was just joking, by the way, but that sucks that you can't feel comfortable being out and about in some places.
I've tried some water, from the source (sorta), before. It wasn't as pure as the one Skaara took pictures of, and I imagine it wasn't even as clean as the one you had, Bamul. I've drank from it twice, when I've gone camping. It's located not too far from the place I went camping last (where I told you my friend spun out of control in his car ). Anyway, as far as I've gone up the moutain, there's this crack on the side of this hill where the water pours out of. I've filled up my cantine with the water accumulated on the ground, and tested my luck; and so far I haven't gotten sick. There's always a chance though, especially considering that the actual source of who knows where probably has animals turding and pissing in it :p
I drink from tap. Most everyone I know over here thinks it's gross of me to drink from the faucet.

Must... Destroy...

In Denmark, the tapwater always contains quite a bit of... whattaya call it, Chalk? It's almost sort of kind of a little tiny bit salty. In comparison to the water in Norway, the water in Denmark really tastes tame, boring and strange. It doesn't have that refreshing delicious taste or feeling. It's just weird

That's interesting. Over here, most of our water is pumped up from ancient, underground, sea beds. The other half if recycled from somewhere....somewhere dark and mysterious....*bhum bhum*.....somewhere vial and ludicrous......*bhum bhum*....recycled poop and pee water  I'm positive that we're not the only ones that have their own waste-water recycled and turned back into perfectly clean drinking water. I know that in the U.S., these water plants are quite common, but I'm not sure if this is used over in European countries. Poo water!!! POO WATER FOR EVERYONE!!!!

I know Bill Gates formed a team of engineers, where they sought to design a inexpensive water system that performs the same task as stationary poop recycling plant. They're planned to be taken to developing countries that ran't able to sustain large water plants like we have in the U.S. Also, I don't think many people knew about this process prior to this, and once it was talked about for a while on television, people grossed out; but little did they know that they were probably drinking some delicious poo water at that time. Pretty cool. :p
-----------------------------------------

Strange thing happened yesterday. I went out to go eat with some family members and I thought to myself, I wonder if I would see the only girl who I ever liked from high school over there. I knew that she had left to go study off in college in some other town, but summer time is here and most people come back for the three month break (that is if they're not taking summer classes). Anyway, my luck has it, she was there; but I didn't go and talk or acknowledge her because both my family and her's were there and I thought it was kind of awkward/uncomfortable just to go over to her like that (I should have though... :(). I just acted like I didn't see her, and I think she did the same. It needs to be in a more casual situation with less people. Damn...This sucks

Whenever I see someone that I barely knew from my high school, I just avoid them. It's always just unnecessarily awkward and they usually do the same. The only people I greet are my best mates from school, which usually turns into a conversation and ends in scheduling a party - I also exchange a few words with some of the girls I used to know. But other than the people I actually knew, I avoid them like the plague. :p

It's strange how seeing former classmates basically results in the same reaction no matter what part of the world one is from . But I know this girl went to school with me since middle school (sometimes called junior high or middle high school) but it wasn't until the second to last year before we had a class together. We rarely talked, but I still liked her. Oh well.

I was at the park today and went over to this grass playing field. There are some small water system gauges that can be seen, underground, if you lift off a plastic cover from the ground; though, I never knew why they were there since I haven't seen any sprinkler/watering system being used at this park (ever). Anyway, I saw a little honey bee land on the plastic cover and crawl through this little hole. I though, "Oh, it must bee getting water from a leaky water gauge or something, let me go look at it." So I went over to the cover and lifted off the cover....All of a sudden, a billion bees swarmed me and left me for dead O-O

Nah, just kidding. I didn't lift the cover, but I peered into the small hole that the little bee crawled inside in and saw what appeared to be a colony of bees. I've been looking for a bee hive for a long time!! Now I just need to build a small bee hive and go get the bees :D

Then what? Enslave them then cultivate them into bee warriors before initiating your plan to take over the world?! I'm on to you :spy:

Talking about every possible angle about water, meeting old school-mates and raising beehives. We're an odd bunch :p

Also, since TechnoViking is here, I might just add that my costume is now finally finished, and the medieval festival is in less than a week! My father (ex-house-builder) even buildt me an awesome shield from scratch. I've got some pictures on my phone of everything, I'll post it as soon as I've uploaded it.

And a selfie at the end of course:

I realize it looks stupid with a young blonde boy on top of that armor, that's why I'm gonna scruff my hair a bit, saved as much beard as I could, and I'm gonna use some black face-paint to make war-paint, kind of like in Skyrim.
Only details that lack now are the fur that I'm gonna add on both ends of the bracers, and I'm gonna color the white lines on the "skirt", in black so they're not visible.

The shield is made of three or four layers of a special type of bendy wood. You can see it's being bended in one of the pictures, with a lot of glue between all the layers, so it keeps the bended shape. Then it's cut out, painted, and added metal-edges.

That looks awesome, very nicely done! :D I always like costumes that feature something made from scratch or at least heavily modified elements, which makes it look more authentic. As for your hair, I agree that making it more scruffy would add to the realism aspect. You could also maybe add some splotches of normal red paint into your hair to make it look as though you have some dried blood of your foes on you (assuming you don't mind messing your hair up that much). Remember to post the finished version with the face-paint and all. :p Oh, and have fun at the festival.

3740 Real bees...Oh, uh, I meant to say that I dreamt about finding a colony of bees. Yeah, that's it. Imaginary bees. Nothing suspicious going on over here. *whistles nervously and walks away aimlessly*

This forum is great.

@Skaara: All hail Sir Skaara Dreadlocks  Badass right here.

You need to have someone like this to introduce you at the events of the medieval fair. Techno Viking wouldn't stand a chance. Oh, and at 2:37, that's a different guy giving a introductory speech. He's in competition with the guy shining the sun in his face.

And sweet costume! It's very well made. And I think I used the term kick-ass too much, but this costume is kick-ass! And kick-ass boots too :D. I think all you need now is a horse. As for your hair, I think it's good the way it is; but, if you decide to change it, you could make it look like the one from the guy in the video (the one wearing the shiny armor) since you two kind of have the same hair.
