Bohemia Interactive always seemed like pretty cool guys, even though I'm not really into their games... though I gotta say that their name isn't very creative since Bohemia is basically Czechia, which is where they are from (imagine if CD Projekt was called "Poland Interactive"). :lol:

So, I just checked the hungarian publisher's web page of the Metro and Metro Universe books, I did find an interesting book. It is an Anthology and it is contains a short story by Dmitry Glukhovsky himself. The title is, "The Last Shelter". Sounds good.

Well, according to the website it will contains a few short stories by the most famous writers from the series authors. I cannot really know how they write their name in english, but I am sure that one of them is the writer of Towards the Light. Also I forgot to mention that it will contains short stories from the authors of metro2033.ru website. Did someone read thoose?
Anyway I am happy because it turned out that the Metro 2035 is coming in November in Hungary. In the mean time they releaseing one more Universe book

 

I haven't read it and I know for sure that we don't have it in Poland, but it sounds familiar so it was probably something that was released under the Universe label in Russia some time ago, but neither of our countries have gotten it (until now in Hungary).

That's brilliant! Poland is getting Metro 2035 probably around the same time, though I don't know when exactly as all we got so far is "autumn". Though I have found out just today that we will be getting new versions of Metro 2033 and Metro 2034 too, with new covers in the style of the third one. We're also gonna get a collector's edition of all three books in hardcover with alternate art on the front (normal version here - exclusive hardcover here).

On a side note, it would be awesome if you could give me a Hungarian link that I could use as a source for the release of Metro 2035 over there, so I could use it to update the pages for Metro 2035 on Wikipedia and the Metro Wiki.

 

Those are some badass covers. I really dig the paper back ones . I have lots to say, but little time. I'll write stuff later on; but, for now, I'd just like to say that there is a sale, on Steam, where all the Tomb Raider games are really cheap. The older ones kind of suck -though, I guess some nostalgia freak could argue otherwise. Anyway, I just wanted to point out that even the latest Tomb Raider (2013) is on sale for $4.00....that's notably cheap compared to its original $20. I'm probably gonna get it since buying a physical copy is pointless now (for a steam game) and it cost a lot less too. Also, I was quite sure Bamul created a thread for this sort of stuff, but I couldn't find it hwell:.

@Bamul, tomorrow will get hopefully get the short story collection and if you want I can scan the cover of that and the Piter's cover (I finally found which I am reading right now ).
As for the Metro 2035 release date I cannot link the publisher's site, because they just write this in a random comment on Facebook. What I can give you is the cover artist official Facebook page and there is one picture which is connected to the Metro Universe, might be the book before 2035 artwork.

Once again I gotta apologise about not getting on the forum as much lately. My family is pretty much falling apart right now, on top of that I have to deal with all the new stuff during the first weeks of uni so it's all really hectic. I try my best to still log on here and delete spam whenever I can, but sometimes even when I'm at home and not busy I just end up playing games in Steam offline mode to give myself something else to think about than shitty real life. Some days I feel absolutely great and it's a step up from the depressing time I had in college, other times I'm crying and can't get to sleep. I get the feeling that lately it's more and more of the former, so hopefully this strange phase of my life will be over soon.

Anyway, I hope everyone else is doing ok, and this might sound cheesy as fuck but seriously: don't take your family for granted. If they all treat you with love and affection, give them just as much back. On the other hand, if someone in your family stabs you in the back and then continues to manipulate your emotions, don't let them continue it. It's a toxic relationship and you should end it by moving out or in some other way.

I'm sorry to hear (read) that, man. It saddens me. I do hope it straightens out real soon. I've never experienced what you are going through -and I hope that I never have- but I can only imagine how stressful and unsettling it must be. My best wishes go out to you and your family; and, as mentioned among the forums a few times, don't feel guilty about not appearing on the forum. I agree on not taking your family, or whatever good one may have in their life, for granted. The other day, my instructor noticed that we were "dying" from the heat built up inside our classroom. We were sweating just while taking notes. Some people complained, others fanned themselves with loose sheets of paper. He said "it could be worse" and told us to think how bad others may have it around the world. He mentioned how children end up going to school in warzones, etc. It reminded me how lucky I have it as I pictured people dying from hellish diseases, not having a clean water to drink, a clean bed to sleep in......Some people are born straight into it and don't even get to experience life past a few months of infancy. And there I was, feeling a little uncomfortable in the warm weather. Hmmm.

Thanks man, it's nice to hear (read) that. Things are getting better, though without going into any personal details I can say that nearer to the end of this month something will happen that'll either make things a little better and bring the home back to normal or make it all worse. I try not to think about it right now, otherwise my studies will be screwed and my leisure time won't really be leisure. So today I spent a bit of time making this.

Oh well, I decided to sell my airsoft VSS Vintorez. Nothing has changed, this is still my all time favourite weapon, but I have a few issues with my replica just simple as that. Firstly, it is longer than a real one - and most of the well known band's versions - mine is longer with almost 5 cm. And not just longer, but the whole gun is bulckier. My guess that the original size would be perfect for me, but this is not as confortable as a weapon should be. Second issue is the balance. This replica has ABS buttstock, which means the original balance as the Russians degsined it is gone due the fact that the ABS has not as heavy as the wood is not even with battery inside. Not to mention when I put on my cheap PSO-1 scope replica. I plan to sell it to my godfather. He told me that he want to buy the same replica as mine, so I thought about this. It was not an easy decision, because the other replicas are expensive as hell.
I am going to buy an AKS-74U which is my favourite AK (hoping that my godfather will actually buy my VSS).

5cm is very minimal, but, I know how it feels to have something not to scale. I can't think of a specific time, but yeah. When you do get the AKS-74U, be sure to post some pics.

Well, for me that 5 cm in lenght enought to notice, for someone who have longer arms probably means nothing in terms of handling.
