That was actually posted here on the forum once. It followed in a special order or something, so it wasn't supposed to leak out onto the internet, so I don't remember if DeepSilver made us delete it or if we got too keep it. I guess it might still be someplace in the forums if you search it up.

Yes, since the original short story was never translated to English (and still hasn't been as far as I know), they turned it into a comic for English audiences in time for the release of Last Light.

And yes, it features the little Dark One. :)

    @Skaara Dreadlocks
Actually I think I read back in the day, just forgot it.

    &Bamul
I didn't remembered that part, it was a long time ago, but I remember now that I searched for it on eBay.

So, Fallout 4 is coming, is someone planning to get it? I don't know, somewhat I like it, but, I was never really into this series. Not a long time ago, I tried to play the 3 with mods, but it is crashed in every 10-20 minutes. I searched for fixes, but did not really worked.

Also, Batman Arkham Knight is back on the market, I tried out, is is noticeably better than it was, but I find it still boring and soulless. The whole "Be the Batman" quote is no match for me, because that batmobile, you destroying the city, launching rockets and all that. WB have an option for refund until next year, but gess what, as for now, it is only works with the digital versions, if you have a retail copy, you cannot ask for refund. I have reached out for their support in this matter a few days ago, but they didn't bothered me an answer.

I was about to recommend you go for the refund, but that sucks. I imagine returns at all are pretty rough with PC boxed copies, considering it most likely uses a key to unlock them.

And yeah, I'll definitely be playing FO4. I'm gonna need to catch up on sleep beforehand, because I likely won't be getting a lot (provided the game runs well on PC).

The main story of Batman AK is actually good, the writing on the other hand is not that good. You can notice on the dialogues are not written by a professional comic writer. My problem is the gameplay, and all of the side content. I remember that when the Arkham City came out the Hungarian gamin press compared that game to the Assassins Creed 2. I think that the open world games developed by Ubisoft are not the best examples, and both Arkham City and Arkham Knight feels like an Ubisoft game mostly because the side contents are just repetitive. In orderd the get the full ending you have to 100% the game which I never done.
I have a same problem with MGS 5. The gameplay just very good and fun, but when you sneaking in the same base for 50th time it becomes boring, not to mention that the main missions feels like a side op.

I remember being really hooked into Arkham Asylum and Arkham City years ago when my PS3 still worked, especially due to their atmosphere, but you're right that much of the optional content for those games was pretty repetitive. I love how W3 handled side quests and activities, how almost everything had an interesting story to it and I was never bored when doing it - which is why I think all the question marks that didn't have any story content shouldn't have been added to the game or at least cut in half (I did all of them because I wanted to do a completionist playthrough and solving all of the ones at sea around Skellige was one of the few parts of that game that wasn't enjoyable).

Heard about this a while ago in one of the Poliah interviews, but they didn't say 2017 back then. Sounds good, but god I hope they film it in Polish first and translate it then, otherwise it won't really be Wiedźmin. :p On the bright side, it's unlikely they can do worse than the previous TV series.

Btw, Metro 2035 was released in Poland two days ago! :D

Did you get a copy? I have to wait a bit more, 21 days to go to be exact. :D

Bamul, in regards to metro books, you are incredibly lucky that you come from a land with an avid following, and as such, have the books relatively soon! I don't know which would be quicker, learning Russian, our waiting for an English translation, the latter still means I'll never be able to explore the wider universe.

Damn, well, you won't be writing to me some first impressions about the book :D

So, I found this game, and this video now, and I have to be honest, I fell in love with it. The attention to the detail is awesome. It is kinda old video now, but somehow I missed it. Now, it is on my radar, and I going to buy it next year. They seems to have realistic ballistic, different shooting stances. Heck the character as he runs closes the optic cover.
One thing though, for me would be better that we play as a Spetsnaz sniper, and the Americans would be the bad guys. I will use russian weapons in this game anyway.

Haha, sadly that is pretty much how it is, but that's a nicely made meme you got there. :D I've said numerous times that I really hope they start translating the Universe books to English someday because there are so many great (and other not so great) stories you are missing out on - plus Британия by Grant McMaster would be the perfect novel to start the series off in the UK since, well, it's set there. They could also use it to gauge people's interests if publishers are worried it won't be profitable, and if it doesn't sell enough for the fatcats to publish more then at least English audiences would still get one book from the wider universe that is much closer to home for them.

However, realistically it probably won't happen. After all, Glukhovsky's original works were turned down by many publishers in the US at first and it took ages for 2034 to be translated to English too. It's a bloody shame though. As for the quality of McMaster's writing, sadly I can't speak of it personally because Insignis still hasn't published a Polish translation of it. I would love to read it though since the entire point of the franchise is to see how authors from different parts of the world imagine their homelands in Glukhovsky's post-apocalyptic world.

I have luck, because we get both the Metro Universe series and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. books as well.

Did I mention that Glukhovsky is coming to Hungary? He will be here for his book and he will give us autographs. Unfortunetly I won't be able to go, because I will work. I don't know anyone who would able to pick up my copies and ask him for autograph. Maybe next time.

Are you... Hungary for more Metro? :D

it is a shame that an english translation is so unlikely, i remember komo actually posted in the Britannia thread a link to a site with the russian version of the book. i did try to read it, using the chrome page translate thing, but it was extremely difficult and in places made absolutely no sense, well done to google translate.

Yeah, machine translation is still far from perfect, though I find it pretty useful for languages that I partially understand (e.g. some Slavic tongues) but you have to really play around with how words are typed in if you want the result to be at all accurate.

There are like eight people in my Steam friendlist playing Fallout 4 simultaneously. I know it just got out and that it's really popular, but I haven't ever seen this with any other game.

Wow, it seems now that if you deprive people of a certain series for long enough, everyone will be incredibly desperate to play the sequel when it returns. I've seen some gameplay and it looks pretty good tbh, can't wait to try it out, never really got into fallout myself.
On an unrelated note, a couple months ago i finally got around to getting stalker ShOC and my first play through (basically every side mission and much exploring) clocked in at just under 280 hrs.
On am even more unrelated note, i was at an airsoft match recently and i saw a guy with a perfect LL kalash replica, including an accurate to game silencer! Pretty cool
